About the Author
She has completed 14 novels while staying active in 2 writing groups, serving on the Boards of Directors several times, and a number of conference committees. But the best part was the life-long friendships she's formed with so many writers, published and unpublished.
Her first published novel, KALEIDOSCOPE, won 2nd place in the 2003 WisRWA Write Touch Readers' Award for published authors. Her second book, WAY OUT WEST, won the prestigious New Jersey Romance Writers' 2003 Golden Leaf Award for Short Contemporary. WAY OUT WEST was also a finalist in the 2004 Virginia Romance Writers' HOLT Medallion Awards.
Her current novels are APRIL'S FOOL and HIS BROTHER'S BABY. She also has a non-fiction humor book, BORN TO BITCH, chronicling life's little annoyances.
When not writing, Blanche enjoys gardening, reading, and playing with her grandkids. You can visit her website, blanchemarriott.com, or email her at firstname.lastname@example.org, or follow her on Facebook (Blanche Marriott)
I would invite you to read this book and see what beautiful music the Kaleidoscope and piano play together." - Lee Darrow -- From the Lebanon Daily Record --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

to know! So, do I recommend buying this book? The answer is yes, as long as you don't mind screaming 'you stupid, stupid woman!' loudly and frequently.
Janeen's beautiful kaleidoscopes that she designs and crafts serve as the catalyst that brings Janeen and Georgios together in an intriguing first scene at the gift shop. But as the plot unfolds, and their escalating attraction for each other begins to sizzle, the kaleidoscopes also work on a deeper level: they embody the growing commitment between Janeen and Georgios--despite the many twists and turns that complicate their lives.
I'd highly recommend this 5-star sweet contemporary romance!
I loved that the characters were artistically creative, and how much their creations were based in love. It was important that the female character, Janeen, was eager to be successful on her own. It was also heartwarming that she had the support of others when she finally accepted help.
I found only a handful of typos/editing fails. Not enough to take away from the story. I can recommend this to all.

It was nice that the author has done her research about kaleidoscopes, which I have been learning about recently, but the story is not always very realistic in terms of how quickly she manages to get her designs to market.
Really enjoyed reading it though and it is nice that the main character is so adamant to make her own success and not depend on anyone.
Maybe the novel needs a new more attractive cover design.
