Das erste Album von Kelis war Ende der Neunziger der Kracher auf MTV und den Dancefloors. Allein 3 Songs schafften es in die Hitparaden. Und jetzt kommt das Album auf orangenem Vinyl inkl. Downloadcode. Die Pressqualität ist top. Die Songs kennt man fast alle und auf der vierten Seite gibt es einige Bonus Remixes. Mehr muß ich dazu nicht sagen.

Ich hoffe, dass man es schafft die restlichen Alben wie Tasty oder Fleshtone auf Vinyl zu bringen!

This is the first album of Kelis I’ve invested in, her debut I believe and what an awesome start; what bought me to Kelis is my memory of just how funky the track ‘Milkshake’ is, I’m currently eagerly awaiting on the arrival of the album this track is on, so very keen. As I’ve said on another review here, when I find a song I enjoy I try my best to find the earliest works of the artist and start from there. I’m very glad to have this CD, thoroughly engrossing. I recall seeing a video clip of Track 3 Caught Out There, one of my favourites; there’s a lyric in this song,”I hate You So Much Right Now” that drew me to the finding this track again, so now I have it. Along with Track 3, Track 6 Game Show and Track 11 No Turning Back are a couple of the other tracks I find very appealing; overall the entire album is an intrinsically, beautiful essential for any music collection, you will never tire of this. So put it in your library too; pop it in the basket before it’s too late.
