Introducing the first compact collapsible softbox: The D-fuse is the first compact collapsible softbox that can be attached to most 1x1 LED panels to diffuse the light for a softer and natural look. The D-fuse was created to quickly convert most 1x1 LED light panels into a softbox without adding bulk or weight. The back of the D-fuse features a 12”x12” opening for your LED panel. Carrying bulky light boxes is a thing of the past when all you need is a D-fuse to attach to your LED light panel. Imagine never having to take a bulky softbox ever again! Instead, the most convenient solution is to carry a lightweight D-fuse that can be easily carried in your backpack. Easy installation: Installation of the D-fuse softbox onto a 1x1 LED light panel is easy! Simply unfold the D-fuse softbox and connect the magnetic rods on all 4 corners to expand the softbox. Once it has been opened up, just strap the D-fuse onto the LED light panel and you're ready to go. Package contents – 1. 1 x carrying bag. 2. 1 x D-fuse softbox. 3. 4 x attachment straps. Compact and collapsible softbox. You can attach the straps onto all four sides of the back of the softbox to secure it to the LED panels. But it also provides you with the support and stretch to keep the softbox open. These professional materials will soften your light source, without changing its color temperature.

The quality seems good, but I can imagine that over time the support poles will eventually rip the fabric as when they are taut they brace the unit by pushing directly against the fabric overlying the inner brace structure. I think for this price, this is what you get. It doesn't seem like it will tear imminently, it just seems like an area of design weakness that over time will give way. Until then, I'm perfectly satisfied with the unit at the price point I bought it at. Honestly, even if it did rip at that point a little, it wouldn't prevent use of the item.
As others have pointed out, once the diffuser is on the LED panel, you can't really tilt the panel forward anymore as the diffuser rests up against the lightstand preventing it from tilting. I just put an elbow joint, the kind you might use to attach an umbrella to a stand, for example, between the lightstand and the LED and now it can tilt freely. No problem.
When you're done it folds up into a tiny little circular pouch for storage.

UPDATE: These items still are not useful on actual video shoots. I spent a few hours after writing my first review of these items trying to figure out how to get them to work correctly. They just don't fit correctly on the light. No matter what direction you mount the light, these softboxes don't fit correctly. Also forgot to mention the bad light leaking from the back of the softbox. You lose a LOT of light power by the inefficient design.
Full disclosure: I purchased these with my own money and still deeply regret it.
Sadly, most people look like hostages in a basement when they Skype or Zoom from home. This will help you look like a TV news anchor in a studio instead.
Even if you put this diffuser over your floor or desk lamp, instead of that lamp's shade – and make sure in that case that you put it IN FRONT OF THE BULB, not over it, for heat circulation – even in that case, it saves your eyes.
The lights for video casting must be in front of you, IN YOUR FACE, and so they are hard on your eyes, just when you have to work on your computer. THAT is where a diffuser really helps.
Besides softening the shades, the diffuser really makes it much easier to bear a light in your face for hours...
I have the large size D-Fuse, which I use on a floor light for video casting for my daughter, and I now got the small size D-Fuse which fit perfectly over the GVM 800 RGB lights. Remove the GVM internal diffuser glass, which will make the lights stay cooler and live longer, and velcro this diffuser to the open barn doors.

That's the only good thing about it.
The diffusion material on the front is very very poor. The led light sshows through from the front because it is thin material and a course weave nylon.
In order to use it as a real softbox to soften the led lights you will have to add some diffusion paper.
By the time that you have produced something workable , you will have lost 3 stops of light.
Don't waste your money - use a shoot through umbrella - the results are 100 times better and a fraction of the cost.
I have a smaller light myself with no barn doors and unfortunately there is no way to secure it unless using some 3rd party clamp and only when pointing the light straight.
As for the price - photography equipment is expensive and unnecessarily so. This is no exception - it is a nice tool but considering materials, packaging and footprint it could easily cost 40% less.
Overall, limited use and usable results if your light is a perfect fit.
