This lens is low cost, fast and has excellent bokeh, it makes you plan, adjust and check your shot before taking it which adds bragging rights to your work; it is a perfect combination to enjoy capturing life without being worried about ultra expensive lenses.

Pros
Best-in-class bokeh: This lens is a powerhouse when it comes to low focal points. It provided high-quality pictures with a crisp, blurry background and little to no distortion around the edges of the subject. This rivals similar lenses that I use, such as the Sigma 30mm and Rokinon 50mm.
Compact: This lens is much smaller and more compact than any other lens I have. I attached a picture to understand size, but it is smaller than the shaker ball in my plastic water bottle. It is easy to switch in and out and does not take up a lot of space.
Image quality: Aside from the bokeh and the low focal point, this lens did really well with macro landscape. 50mm is close and this lens is by noi means a wide-angle, but it was easy to use and picked up both subjects and background extremely well. I was happy with the picture quality on all of my pictures.
Price: This lens is cheaper than any lens you will find on the market. It provides a lot of value for a fraction of the price of similar lenses. It's hard to find any other lens that packs this much punch for the price.
Cons
Weight: The lens is noticeably heavier than many of the other lenses I own. This isn't a huge knock against it given that we're talking about a couple ounces difference, but you can definitely tell there's a weight difference.
Overall, I highly recommend this lens. It delivers high-quality results for a fraction of the price. It's a must have for any photographer.

It helps me think about the composition, the lighting, the settings and most of all, the aperture...
I use it with my Sony A6000, and while it does not have OIS or any Stabilization, the pictures come out sharp and clean. I do not venture in slow speeds or low light situations if I am hand holding my camera, but on a tripod, I am confident it will take amazing pictures.
Focal Ring is decent, not smooth operation, and I feel just right in the amount of traverse.
The Aperture ring is silent, and "strong" meaning it will stay in place unless you really want to move / change speed.
not to heavy, and looks great on the Sony Alpha 6000 ...
may update later on this lens when I have had a chance to use it in low light or where speed is important.
Who is it for: anyone looking to venture out to manual mode. while I may waste a few hundred pictures, this lens is helping me "figure out" how to compose, think and react to capture great pics.
My main gripe is that the focus ring is a bit too small in my opinion, however the great thing about it is that the ring is a bit more difficult to turn, and especially at an aperture of 1.1 this is a huge benefit
People saying they can't get a shot in focus don't realize that a aperture of 1.1 is basically a few inches worth of depth of field.
For reference this picture was shot at full aperture. The bed behind the chair was about 2 feet away, the skateboard on the wall was about 6 or 7

Value:5
Qaulity of image:3 @ 1.1 to 1.8 (start firming up at 2)
My only problem with this lens and ultimately the deal-breaker was it's focal plane that I discussed earlier. No amount of experience will result in a tack-sharp image and it's selling point of an ultra wide aperture is ultimately unusable in most situations.
This is a perfect beginner's lens and great value and learning experience for the money, but this lens is just not for me. It crippled my camera's capability honestly.

It seems well made and the focus and aperture rings are smooth. I found that the lenshood fitted ok, others have had problems with it. The front and rear caps are grey which slightly spoils first impressions. There's no locating dot for fitting the the lens to the camera which is easily corrected.
I checked the depth of field scale against a couple of sources and found that it corresponded best to a 30mm lens on MFT. It didn't work for other sensors or focal lengths.
The centre of the lens can be really sharp but (with the possible exception of f16) the edges never match the centre sharpness. The corners aren't sharp. Chromatic aberration at full aperture and the edges is quite spectacular.
Having said all that, it's a lovely lens to use and provides different results. I am very pleased with it.
I have a Helios44M which has some similarities and cost £10 (I had 4 Russian lenses and only found 1 ok) and also noted the 50mm f1.4 Super Takumar on sale in a local shop for £149. Again, it's a different sort of lens.
Overall, I'm going to have to spend a bit of time getting the best out of this lens....which will be fun.
Update.
Having watched a Youtube comparison of this lens with Sony and Leica equivalents I was struck be some odd results which the reviewer observed. This prompted me to explore a little and, having done some experiments, I have concluded that the f stop markings are also all over the place.
I've done some crude measurements of iris size and a comparison with the Oly 45mm f1.8 and, assuming that the f1.1 is accurate, calculated some new values of the marked f values. F 2.0 becomes f1.5, f2.8 becomes f2.0, f4.0 becomes f2.5, f5.6 becomes f3.5 and f8 becomes about f5.2. Looking at the bar chart in the ePhotozine review in the light of the corrected values makes the lens look a bit better. For the money it's a great little lens.

I was lucky enough to get one with a damaged box which was reduced to £102, so it was an absolute no-brainer at that price. Full manual shooting is fun to do, and I find the GH5's focus peaking feature works well for me. I only shoot video so cannot comment on stills quality. For me it's a perfect low-budget low light "catch-the-moment" kind of lens. Viewed from that philosophy I reckon it's great value for the price, but don't get it if you need pixel-peeping perfection.
