I would recommend these to anyone. I keep multiples in my vehicles and in my bugout bags.
If you need shelter two will be best. Make a simple lean-to. Lay one on the ground, making sure the ground is cleared of things that could poke holes. Use the other as the ceiling of your shelter, this directs the heat from your fire in.
These arent only "survival" items- many times they can be used as a quik tarp on the grass, or when it's very blazing hot to keep the sun off.
Price is right. Note that they are not very reusable.
