About Karen C. Silverstein
Enter into a world of imagination. Karen C. Silverstein is a Dream healer, author and artist. She is part of a group of Dreamers that work with ones dreams to heal body, mind and soul. Karen's images can come from a night time dream or a daydream. Bringing these into waking life, she then transfers the dream images into writing or onto canvas or paper, with brush, paint or pen. Karen has been a Dreamer all her life and has a dream healing practice, working with private clients as well as conducting monthly dream circles. She leads workshops using Dream Themes, some of which interface with arts and crafts, as in Mask Making Dream Shaping, Goddess/God and Karma Dream Sculpting and Dreamscapes to Write With. Karen has achieved Master Dream Teacher III Certification. In her work she practices soul recovery, soul retrieval, dream healing, intuitive healing and shamanic techniques. Karen has training in aroma therapy and is a holistic healer, she also uses Native American and Chinese practices. After the 911 tragedy in New York, Karen helped at the Federal Building. Karen was part of a team that aided survivors in the weeks after the tragedy that were suffering with nightmares. As an artist, Karen has been affliliated with a variety of SoHo, New York galleries along with various other galleries that have exhibited her Dream Paintings. Karen lives with her husband in the Hudson Valley area of New York.
