I used several of these tubes in a home-made salad spinner centrifuge and they worked well. However, after re-using the same tube several times and using it with some oily products, the label and mL numbers/markings rubbed off. I was a bit surprised by this, but for the price this product is definitely worth it.

These are sold as leak-proof, however they leak from the lid with minimal mixing of the fluid inside. I run a research lab and was surprised to see these so cheap, but I guess you get what you pay for. Stick with BD, etc for higher quality ones. Mine all are going back to amazon.

The best thing about these tubes is that they are cheap. I got them to store yeast samples for homebrewing in my freezer. They are not sterile like the more expensive ones so I have to sanitize them before use. They leak unless the caps are put on very tightly (using grippers). There is no liner in the cap which could help with the sealing. The printed markings on the outside rub off easily. Overall, there's not much good to say about these tubes.

However, they do the job but next time I think I'll pay a bit more and get a better quality product.

I bought these as a convenient way to store yeast for homebrewing. They're a standard size, easy to store, and cheap enough that I don't feel bad if I decide to throw one or two out instead of trying to clean them. All said, a great purchase.
