Perfect lids for the job

Mysterious lining

These lids are not as described. They fit the Ball jars but has a white lining instead of "unlined". No description of materials so I am not sure if it's a good idea for food storage. I have included a photo showing the lid next to my own unlined lid.

They Rust

It’s very unfortunate that this product will rust when in contact with moisture. If you use your Mason jars for dry goods and nuts & bolts you’ll be fine. But like me, if you use Mason jars for food, liquids, and things that have moisture, the lids will rust. And I don’t think it’s good for rust to be in contact with things we ingest. So a word of caution. Please see my picture.

These are really great if you use Mason jars to store things you need to use frequently, or even for replacing the ring lids on canned goods once you've opened them (I hate dealing with sticky lids and rings on jam jars for example). So far they haven't rusted after washing and air drying so you can definitely reuse them.

These make life so much easier! I'm not sure how I've gone so long without these. They are great. I purchased some of the Ball brand lids in the past, but they are plastic. I found them to leak a bit and I worried about smell and staining with those lids. These resolve all of my concerns about the others...now I just need to pick them up in a wide size.
