Former San Francisco radio disc jockey Kate Kisset debuted as an author in 2015 with her wine country romance series, The Single Girls Wine Club. Just a Kiss, is the first book in a seven book series.
Kate has a passion for telling great stories. After playing thousands of Pop, Country, Rock and Oldies tunes, for her primarily female fan base, she left her broadcasting career after the unexpected loss of her mother. Wanting an escape from a series of "real-life" heartbreaks, Kate began inventing her own happily-ever-after's and found joy while writing.
As a writer, Kate stories are infused with emotion, passion, and humor. A girls-girl herself, Kate’s characters are strong, smart and passionate. Her Single Girls Wine Club series is a small town romance centering around three friends who live in an historic estate in Sonoma Valley wine country, north of San Francisco. Many of the Sonoma, Napa Valley, St. Helena and San Francisco settings featured in the Single Girls Wine Club series are inspired by real locations and events. In each standalone read, one woman is treated to a toe curling love affair she never saw coming.
Kate lives in Northern California and Santa Barbara with her family and rescue pup “editor” Luciana Parmigiana, where she hikes, reads, listens to music, and drinks wine. Kate is delighted to share her stories with you.
