This photo doesn't indicate that the color of the lunch box is a natural brown. It looks like a canvas material. I didn't hate but I wish I had known from the pictures.

This lunchbox is, as the title says, meh. To start out, I am a huge Kate Spade fan, I own many of her home decor pieces, but to be honest I was a little underwhelmed when I received this little lunchbox in the mail. Firstly, it looks cheap. It’s a burlap covered in a sort of cheap vinyl (I’m assuming) to try to make the lunchbox last longer. The zipper pulls look flimsy, and the seams don’t match up. Perhaps not a big deal had I paid less, but at almost $40 (after taxes and shipping), I expected more of a Kate Spade product. Yes, it is also fairly small! As other reviewers stated, if you’re super organized and use containers to food prep, or eat light meals, you’ll be fine. But if you tend to pack larger meals in larger containers, this lunchbox is not for you. Also, the product picture is decieving, look at the customer pictures before buying! To me, the product picture made it look like it was made of canvas and was a lighter beige, when the customer pictures actually show it’s more of a darker burlap color. Other than that, if you’re looking for a little designer lunchbox that is cute, and you don’t particular care about it being super functional, this is the lunch tote for you.

I put off buying this for months because I was concerned about the reviews saying it was so small. I ended up purchasing anyways and am so happy I did. It is the cutest lunch box! I have gotten several compliments. It is very difficult to find a lunch box style that you actually like as an adult. As a teacher, I pack a lunch every day and have gone through A LOT of lunch boxes. As for the size, it is on the smaller size but I actually really don't mind it- I have been able to fit a lot in there- usually three small containers and a sandwich easily. The only inconvenience would be if you tend to pack really large tupperwares instead of dividing up your food into separate containers.

Cute, Professional, But I Wish I Was Shaped Different

I wanted a designer lunch bag that was cute and professional. A lot of people carry the Vera Bradley ones, but I have never been a fan of the prints, and always have loved Kate Spade. I love everything about this bag except for the size. I wish it was bigger and shaped differently. I find it hard to fit some of my glass lock containers into. A lot of my containers I have to put in on their side. If it had a wider, more square base I would love it even more! Honestly, it would be more versatile if it was wider and shorter (whereas it is very narrow, but tall).

Broken After Two Months

This is a stylish lunch tote. But after only two months of use, one zipper pull broke. It’s not even the kind of broken that can be fixed; the metal broke apart. This lunchbox hasn’t gone through heavy, over-the-top use but it’s broken. Very disappointed!

I get complements on this bag all the time. It's small but sufficient enough for my pyrex orange-topped glass bowls (with a nudge of a squeeze), a piece of fruit (apple-sized), granola bars, etc. If I want to use a larger bowl with a fitted lid, with food that won't leak, I place it sideways. As long as you aren't needing it for huge portions, it is well-sized. It's about the sz of a tampon box ( :-/ sorry). Placed it in my trunk the other day and thought my prized possession was stolen, of course - it was a state of emergency and I was ready to buy another one! My only request would be to make some on other colors.

Using as a case for toiletries. Totally washable and the size is perfect. Will be perfect for travel.
