This is the perfect little kit. My youngest just took up crocheting and she’s always getting into my stash. Now, we have a system. There are two sets of nice hooks included in this kit, so she uses one and I use the other. I just started working on projects requiring stitch markers and this kit comes with an inner zipper pocket to store them. The kit comes with stitch markers I’d been wanting to try. It turned out a LOT more economically advantageous to buy this kit than try to buy all these supplies separately. I am starting a crochet club at school and will highly recommend this to the kids who find they really like crochet. Everything has its place so you can see all you have. I often crochet while I travel, so I appreciate that this kit can easily fit into a bag. Overall, very please with this kit. I accidentally bought the one with cats on the outside, so I might get myself a second one and just let my daughter keep the cute cat one. Get it! Michael’s, Joanne’s and other craft stores didn’t have anything that could beat this - I looked!

No letter sizes, not enough large hooks

These hooks are great for all kinds of smaller yarn projects. I did notice there aren’t many larger hooks so more variety would have been great but these are perfect for all the yarn I just bought on sale. My only true complaint is the letter sizes aren’t on the hooks only the mm’s. I can easily add this with a sharpie though.

Like the way everything came in this kit. But thought the numbers and letters would be on both sets. Numbers are on regular set and letters are on ergonomic set....except for one hook which has a number 7-4.5mm on it. Ergonomic Set: B-2.0mm C-2.5, D-3.0, E-3.5, G-4.0, 7-4.5, H-5.0, I-5.5, J-6.0 Not sure if the numbers are messed up or not. Notice there's NO "F". Unless this set of letters are wrong too???? Very Confusing as to whether or not these hooks are correct or not. With that being said, I'm still happy with getting all of this in a bundle for the price. Because if you try to Purchase everything individually, it would cost way more. And as far as the sizes, sometimes I have to either use bigger or smaller hooks for my projects anyways. Also, I'm not a Pro Crocheter. It's just for my personal enjoyment.

I have a few other sets but this is the one I carry with me, this is the first one I grab for, this is the one I like the best. It is a nice, portable size. It is well organized. It is sturdy, solid and has a reliable zipper. It has room to hold a few extras (such as a better pair of scissors, which might be my only actual complaint about this kit...the snip style included likes to lose its protective cover even while stored in its band and it doesn't cut very well.) But if you are willing to add your own small scissors, this kit has you covered for everything else.

A lot of reviews were very mixed when I had bought this product, but this is my honest review. My mother bought this for me when I first started out crocheting, now i’m a few months in and let me tell you, I absolutely love this kit. It comes with so much and has everything you need which can get pricey if you were to buy all of this stuff on its own. The lettering on the rubber hooks do start to fade after a while but i would just take a picture of all of the hooks to refer back to. I looked all over amazon, this kit is the best for your money weather you are a beginner or already started but only have like one hook.

IF the silicone set are the priority try another set for better quality. As you can see in the first photo the set came with a twisted needle. The hook for that blue 4mm needles faces to the side and not forward as it should, like the rest. Because of the formed shape of the silicone it makes it very awkward to use with the hook facing away from you when held correctly.

SECONDLY:. The markings on the silicone holders are all rubbed away. Soon there won't be any identifier on the needle after a few sessions of use. That won't work for me. My memory sucks. The markings should be done better than that!

For the price point, this is completely unacceptable. I bought this set specifically for the ease of the silicone hooks. The second aluminum set is standard and quite nice but they are just as a sort of backup or loners for me. I need the silicone for wrist ease.

Just understand there are far better and cheaper silicone sets out there.
Even with all the stuff included there are cheaper, in better sets than this one. So I can't in good conscience recommend it.

Everything you need to get started. The accessories ... you wouldn't think you need THAT many of the pins, or the rest ... but my wife has used almost everything.

The only thing that would make it better would be the comfort grip hooks going up to 15 mm instead of stopping at 6 mm. We knew that when we ordered it ... and we've been looking for comfort grips on larger hooks to fill in the set. The non-comfort grips hurt her hands after a couple of hours ;)
