The city is very well pictured in your mind with his descriptions.
This is a book that will keep you wanting more. Put seatbelts on your reading chair cause this book will have you right on the edge of your seat begging for more. With a little imagination you could actually be in Kathmandu!
Murders, mystery, kidnappings, international skulduggery, the list goes on, in a dual timeline that proves (rather lengthily), that sometimes the underdog will yap and eventually he may just bite!
Get your ticket to ride off into an Asian sunset, to see if Luke Richardson's 'Rough Guide' to Kathmandu leads to an HEA - or not!
I was given a copy of his first book Katmandu by the author. I am voluntarily posting an honest review.

I was taken in by the snappy cover and the evocative title. I've visited Kathmandu, so I was excited to delve into the story. Richardson pulls it together masterfully, and I could almost smell, taste and feel the city I loved during my visit.
An excellent story, and I look forward to book 2, as prefaced at the end of Kathmandu.
Spoiler for those who haven't read the book yet....
Sorry Leo, I didn't think you going back to your time with Mya added anything to the main story. Oh and the way the book finishes annoyed me.
The book takes you away to the foreigner city making you experience it through all your senses. Described detail of smells and tastes, sounds and sights leave you with an impression you have visited Kathmandu yourself.
Twisted story line will make you hold your breath as main character Leo puts himself in to the world of unknown, where love, crime and adventure become inseparable.
