Polymer Clay is a great source for your artistic output.

Lasting seemingly forever, this product doesn't seem to deteriorate over time so if you accidently leave it open it's not really going to become unuseable. If it becomes britle you can always add some mineral oil to get it back to its original state.

You can also add mineral oil to the Kato Polymer Clay if you want to have a more fluid like product.

Another nice aspect of the Kato Polymer Clay is that from 3 or 4 core colours you can mix them to develop other colours.

As with all Polymer Clays you bake the final product in an oven and it comes out rock hard, all ready for you to add a final polish.

A very flexible craft product.

It's great clay, but too hard for me to knead. I had to add it to regular polymer in order to work with it. Probably fine for someone with stronger hands than mine. It looks great when it's baked.

Would buy again. Great clay with true color and solid design that doesn't run into the next color or lose its shape.

As a whole, this product is okay. It's a decent polymer clay for a decent price. A little harder than more commonly used clays, but a little mineral oil softened it enough for my liking. The colors blended well and I found that I liked the more solid consistency, since I'm still a novice and the sturdy texture meant I could abuse unfinished pieces with clumsy hands and they wouldn't get bent out of shape.

HOWEVER the fumes are quite unbearable!! The smell is not unlike inflatable pool toys fresh out of the package. It's not so strong that you can smell an open package across a room, but when you are working with it so close to your face for an extended period of time it can become quite nauseating. I am sensitive to chemical fumes as it is, so after only an hour or so of mixing and conditioning, I had a pounding headache. Placing a fan nearby to circulate the air helped a little bit, but not much. This brand also cooks at a different temperature and time than the majority of other brands, so it can be difficult to mix with an existing collection.

Overall, if you are on a budget and have a high tolerance for chemical fumes, then this may be the clay for you. But personally I feel that the quality and fumes are NOT WORTH saving a few dollars.
