Well, you aren't going to get a brown one like the picture. I got 2 blue and 1 green. One of the blues had an additional 'lid' on the top of the hay rack. The other two did not. Very inconsistent.
Also, as I already knew, the metal clips for the cage can be difficult to use. The clip part is at the large part of the clip, which sits in the holes on the dish. You cannot turn it around as the small portion of the clip is too small to turn around and get to the hole. So you might want to redo the clips, or put on new, larger clips entirely. Also with it being clipped onto the cage, your bunny won't be flipping his dish over. Now he still may dig in it if he's that sort of rabbit (mine aren't), but there really isn't too much to do for that.
Unless your critter has a ceramic or metal bowl, he's going to chew it up. Be prepared for chewing! This dish is very thick and will take a while to be destroyed by a heavy chewer. As I've had this dish before, I can say it does hold up really well for a really long time. But if you have a very curious and playful bunny that likes to investigate everything, be prepared for the smart little fella to figure out how to take out the hay rack and play with it.
I bought this for my guinea pig but, it was very awkward for him to use.
The carabiner clips broke with first time gentle use, which wasn't a big deal, but then when he went to eat his pellets from the food bin, it was much too deep for him that he would have to dip his head quite deep to get to his food. I tried filling the bin closer to the top, but with only one piggie feeding, there was just too much food and I ended up throwing most of it away. The hay rack in the back is a great idea but it's almost too far back behind the bin. It would've been nice if the hay rack was accessible from the sides of the bin. We've now gone back to the separate hay rack and ceramic food bowl which takes up more space but at least is accessible for piggie.
