Shipped in good shape. Arrived timely but the birds didn't. At least in my area north central Ohio the usual chickadees, nuthatches,, tufted titmice et al much preferred oil sunflower seed in the regular bird feeder

because the Finche; sparrows; chickadees; mocking birds use this product. I have purchased this product for many years. Recently they would not eat it because it had a dark beige/yellow color. however, the color is more honey colored and the birds are eating it again.

We put this honey seed treat bell outside the window one of my cats loves to look out of. This sat there for about a week and finally a bird approached very cautiously. Then it started pecking away at the seeds. This was very exciting for my cat! I hope the bird will be back maybe with some friends to provide entertainment. I'm thinking there must be some sort of pole to put this on but I haven't figured it out yet. Right now it is just on a plate sitting on the windowsill. While watching the small bird I noticed it was also eating the sunflower seeds by cracking them open with its beak and eating the seed inside. So this seems appropriate for small birds too.

P.S. I put this away for a while in the garage and it attracted a rodent who made a nice nest in some towels and ate half this seed bell. So if you store it, make sure you put it in a box or plastic bag and keep it high off the ground.

I bought this and it hung in the tree for a couple of days before it broke and I found a huge
chunk laying on the ground. The birds seemed to like it well enough, but now it is just a
chunk of seed going into my backyard for the birds there. Too expensive and would not
buy again. A smaller bell is better, and cheaper, in Target or PetSmart. I even bought one
in ShopRite, and the birds ate everything.

I ordered two of these and found the same item at local pet store for $2.99. Although it did work well but the price is way too high here. Would not buy again.

I always have great luck with bird seed bells. I put a ribbon on them and throw them up in the tree. This bell has been hanging perfectly in my tree for over a week. No one has touched it. The weather has been perfect and the birds have been making tons of noise out there. So what gives? Why don't they like this?

Wild birds in Las Vegas are attracted to this product. Everytime I look out my window, there are approximatly a dozen birds fighting to get a position so that they can feed.
