Kebroak Hardwood Charcoal is 100-percent Natural Lump Charcoal. It is made from very dense hardwood trees in Central America. This charcoal lights quickly and burns hot, with temperatures reaching more than 1,000 degrees Fahrenheit thereby searing the meat, caramelizing the crust and locking in the delicious juices. Kebroak Hardwood Charcoal is a restaurant quality charcoal that is sought after by many Steak Houses across the country. By regulating the air intake of your grill or smoker you can easily regulate Kebroak Hardwood Charcoal to burn searing hot (1,000 degrees) or low and slow (250 degrees). Light you Kebroak Hardwood Charcoal with a kitchen paper towel, lightly soaked with vegetable oil, don't use lighter fluid to not spoil your food.

So yeah, it's great, I'll definitely be buying again if they don't go up too much in price.
I would buy large chuncks if I had a huge grill. But I have an egg. And I'm usually just cooking for a family of 3.
Kebroak lump gets the job done. This stuff burns hot, but not the hottest and longest-lasting lump charcoal I've used. I first used it today to cook two bone-in pork butts weighing over 8 lbs. each, along with some wild cherry wood. Size distribution was OK, with mostly medium and small pieces. It was generally well carbonized, and wasn't sparky at all either when lighting in a chimney starter or burning in my smoker's firebox.
Second bag had more small pieces and a lot of dust. Used it for cooking beef briskets, pork shoulders, and poultry. The dust was conveyed onto the food.
I don't think I'll buy Kebroak again. There are better lump charcoals available at a lower price per pound.
