Keep a classic favorite an essential for your everyday style with the Coursa..
In 1916, the Keds brand was introduced by the U.S. Rubber Company as the first national athletic and lifestyle footwear brand. At this time, the shoes were called sneakers, a term invented in late 1916 by Keds advertising agency because the rubber soles made the shoes quiet. Worn by Olympic soccer players, scores of National and International tennis champions, and many college athletes, Keds was coined the shoe of champions because of its reputation as America's premier athletic brand. Not only was Keds a leading athletic brand, it was also the brand of choice for leading style icons due to its classic, stylish, and authentic characteristics.

Ps.- as obvious as it may seem, it helps if you already have had Keds before, because you already know what size you are and won't have any trouble with the fitting.
They are also TOO SMALL. I wear a 7 in every other brand of tennis or canvas shoe, but this one left blisters on the outside of my toes from being too tight and rubbing (I have narrow feet, too, and B(M) has always fit perfectly, so it's not a width issue). I'm pissed because I actually bought two pairs both in size 7 thinking they were a good deal, and wore one of them for a while thinking they would "break-in", but they never did. I tried wetting them and stretching/stuffing them, to no avail. Just missed the Amazon refund window, and now I'm left with one brand new and one barely-worn pairs of Keds that I guess are going on eBay.
I would recommend getting a FILA, or dropping another $15 and getting a pair of Converses. Or, just go to any department store and get their cheap canvas shoes for less. Do not recommend.
And because these came at the start of crazy school time, I am too late to return them :( I need to find a person with very narrow feet! lol
The only reason I am giving these shoes 4 stars instead of 5 is because yesterday I wore them all day at work and then to a concert, and when I got home I found that the toe part of my white socks were dyed pink. Not a deal breaker for me, as the pink came out after a wash, but I just don't like the idea of pink dye on my feet from seeping through my socks. I wore them all day today with white socks, and no pink was to be seen at the end of the day. I think I'll just have to avoid wearing them in sweaty grimy situations. Other than that, no complaints!
