I walked 2 miles in them yesterday without any discomfort.
The strap can be a little snug, I tried them on locally before ordering online. I wound up ordering a half size up from my normal size.
These shoes are lightweight, breathable, and perfect for your summer adventures!
Update: I now consider these the worst pair of shoes I ever bought. I really tried to like them. I really did. But with my high arches, I ended up removing the strap. Okay, that was an improvement. But the HEELS! OMG. Ouch. They came up so high on the back of my foot and they had the pull tab on them and they were bulky and when I wore them with footies or bare feet the heels abraded my skin until I couldn't wear ANY shoes with a back on them for weeks. I ended up taking a pair of shears and cutting down the back of the shoes so they came lower on my heels. NOW they're comfortable but only good for slopping around the house. I would hesitate to ever buy another pair of shoes from this manufacturer.
When I tried these on last night, I thought they had sent me a 10 or a 10.5 because they were so. freakin. huge. Sadly, the label confirmed that these were a 9.5, but I still have my doubts. How could one company's sizes be that off?
I'm bummed that these won't work, but I'm determined to find them elsewhere. I wish Amazon carried a 9 and and 8.5, so I could try both sizes. I'm worried that if I get a 9 from another company that doesn't offer free return shipping that I'll either be stuck with the shoes or out on return shipping.
I can only hope that Keen will bring these shoes back one day, since it seems very comfortable (more cushion than the Siennas, I thought), and the "Fall Plaid" colors are fantastic. This would be a cozy fall/winter shoe. Maybe I'll be able to find a pair before autumn arrives?
