From the manufacturer
KEEN Utility boots feature asymmetrical toe protection specifically made to fit your left and right foot, protecting from the big toe to the little toe. Our larger toe box lets your toes breath and spread out, the way they were meant to, and it allows room to move and flex, preventing pinching when the foot is hyper-flexed.
Molded reinforcement on the toe box safeguards against abrasion and mild impact. Combining functional design
and innovative shape, KEEN patented toe protection keeps your toes safe from the unexpected.
KEEN Utility is one of the only brands that brings the comfort and fit of a hiking boot into every single one of our work boots. The more natural, snug fit in the heel and a more spacious, intuitive toe box creates a one of a kind work shoe.
This internal support mechanism is anatomically engineered to provide excellent arch support and cradle the natural contours of the foot.
This durable work shoe is designed like a comfortable, high-performance hiker. Get steel-toe protection in a light and flexible style, with advanced support and enhanced electric shock resistance for added safety at the jobsite. MEETS ASTM F2412-11 AND F2413-11 F I/75 C/75 EH STANDARDS

There was a problem filtering reviews right now. Please try again later.
I bought these shoes in October. They felt great when I got them. Unfortunately, the inside of the shoe completely broke down a month and a half later. Now they hurt my feet. They still look nice, but I cannot wear them for an entire day anymore.
I am very disappointed. I expect a pair of work shoes to last at least a year. Not recommended.
After much deliberation, based mostly on reviews.. I ordered the Keen Flint low work boot. Got them the next day, opened them...saw the color (MUCH lighter than I had anticipated), felt how heavy they were and almost returned them on the spot. But, I remembered the rave reviews and decided to try them on anyway. Ok....THIS is why they got such good reviews. They are ridiculously comfortable, seriously. Plenty of room in the toe box, I don't feel the steel toe at all. I have never encountered that in a steel toe boot or shoe. I could always tell I was wearing them and they alway rubbed at some part of my toe, enough to make it impossible to wear.
I fell in love with them then and there. I have worn them everyday and have been comfortable from the get go. I spend a good 8 hours or more on my feet (according to my fit bit I walk at least 6 miles a day for work)...in and out of my truck, on castor decking unloading cans, you name it, I was comfortable doing it in these boots. AND...today we had freezing rain most of the day so I got to try out the traction.....it was excellent.
I am so pleased with these boots, I can't even tell you.
I never had to break them in. They are a bit heavy...but not for a steel toe, just heavier than your everyday sneaker or most certainly the running shoe I usually wear in the summer.
I didn't give a 5 star based on color choices. Really....we are supposed to wear all black shoes or boots..and Keen does not offer them in the Flint, Detroit or Atlanta boot. Obviously not a deal breaker, just something I wish they would look at.
