I bought the 16 oz model. The lid does leak a little while taking a sip sometimes but often it's just because I haven't got it on properly or I haven't wiped it down well. It happens more often with coffee than water (which I use it for the rest of the time) which is no worse than the paper cups with plastic lids from my favorite coffee shop so it's hardly a problem for me at all. I love the overall shape and feel of it. It's lead free which is mainly what I wanted it for. To insulate it a bit more I got a 50 cent tumbler from Walmart, put a knitted cozy around the glass and it fit snugly inside right up against the cork. If ever the cork wears out I can just buy a new cork ring or put a longer cozy on the glass and snug it all the way in (it's an 18 oz tumbler.) I slapped a redbubble sticker on it and it's my favorite travel cup! Most satisfied.
