I'm sorry to see this series come to an end. I've enjoyed the tech side of the story, even if it wasn't totally fleshed out. I hope Ms. Gimpel can find a way to bring these characters into a book in the future.

OMG! What a incredible story this book is. Keeping Faith is a great last story with a different but incredible story based on true friendship, a rough past, incredible passion between two very different people and a love story that will have you begging for more at the end. I wanted more, I simply felt at the end came far too quickly. This was an incredible story. I enjoyed the way Ann added in Reg past that made him who he is today. I love a story where someone who has had a rough past growing up ends up making a different but successful life for himself or herself in the end. This story also will have you feeling every emotion they have towards the things they go through. It was so real like that I felt like I was part of the story. You know it's good when you feel like you are part of the story and you feeling every emotion they are going through. Reg and Faith are two completely very different people but have a very strong connection with each other. Reginald Thomas is a Doctor who agreed to run the CIA’s infirmary after he got hurt in Afghanistan. He is also one of the scientists who help create genetically modified human. He is unmarried and has substituted medicine and science for a personal life. But now he is fighting his attraction to Faith and it's a losing battle. Will she hate him when she discovers he helped create those like her. Faith and four other genetically modified women escape their compound. They are now CIA Black Ops agents and Glory, Honor, Charity and Hope have each found men who adore them.
Faith is unsure she will find someone of her own. But after talking to Dr. Thomas, he has piqued her interest. She hacks into the personnel database to check and see if he had a wife she came up empty, but the odds of him ever being interested in her are thin. Of course she is wrong. I must admit I thoroughly enjoyed reading this intriguing and interesting story. It's one of the few books that I have read that is well written with a good story, which offers drama, suspense, intrigue, action, danger, attractions, lust, love and emotional feelings. The characters have emotional feelings with needs and desires according to their personality. The characters came to life for me, making the story that much more enjoyable. If you want to laugh, cry and feel that their happily ever after is the real thing, than this story is for you. I couldn't put my reader away until I read this story twice and this why I absolutely enjoy reading anything that Ann Gimpel writes. I voluntarily reviewed this book. Because I like sharing my thoughts with my fellow readers.
If those of you who haven't read any of the previous books: the United States started breeding a race of super humans sometime between the interminable wars going on in the Middle East and the 9/11 attack. Clandestine labs were formed that were armed with eager scientists who have always yearned to manipulate the DNA of humans. At first these clones looked promising, growing to fighting size a just a dozen years, but V1 had some major design flaws. Then seven years ago, a rogue group turned on their creators, starting blowing up the labs, and hitting all the other breeding farms to free whomever they could find. In the intervening years, they've retreated to hidden compounds and then created a society that is run by men. The women were kept on tight leashes because the men fear that if they discovered their innate power, so they launch their own rebellion. These are the women's stories.
In books one through four we've learned that an OPS team has accepted into their ranks four women and two men from one of the compounds. This series tell the stories of these "freaks" and how they have found a life that is worth living. We see friendships that are formed, love grow between them and humans, and most of all acceptance.
This is Faith's story along with Doctor Thomas, who is one of the four women who was rescued and started changing things in a very big way. Each of her "sisters"....Glory, Hope, and Charity.......have found the man of their dreams and now it's Faith's turn.
In this story, Faith has to come to terms with her feelings toward the Nameless Ones. While Doctor Thomas must decide how much to reveal about his past actions. The GenTech Rebellion is on the verge of self-destructing but with determination Milton and the black-ops teams are able to make/work amazing results in this war.
This series is a must read and well worth reading because it will keep you engaged from start to finish. I voluntarily reviewed this advanced reader copy and this review is my own opinion.
