Never is now engaged to Ty and also keeping a secret from him. She is pregnant! Stopping smoking and throwing up constant, he has to know...right? Never finally get's up the nerves to tell him, but he cuts her off.
Having to go to New York, where Ty's life became what it was. His mother is dying and he has to say goodbye, to close that door. But will he make it on time?
While in New York, Ty wants to show and tell Never who he really is. How he became the 13 year old who sold his self for money. He has to let it all out, so they can go on with their life's. He was there for Never, and Never will be there for Ty, in every way she can be.
Going back to the house he ran away from and finding it like it could be in a episode of Hoarders...Ty and Never clean it, this will be their home to grow old in and to raise a family. Something that is theirs.
Facing his demons and learning why Ty is the reason he is, shakes Never to her core, but no matter what she will always be there, just like he was for her.
Letting him take his time telling her his story, cleaning his grandmothers house, settling in and finding out he will be a father...Can Ty let it all go and embrace the new news?
Will Ty and Never finally get their happily ever after? Can he over come his demons and finally live his life?
Keeping Never, was what I thought it would be, just a good as the other two previous books from C.M. I liked learning Ty's story and hearing what happen to him and why he turned to pimping him self out. Reading his story, turned my stomach and made me sick, because it's a life that some people live. I didn't want the story to end and I still want more Ty and Never. See how they grow and embrace their new life together and their little one :)
LOVED, LOVED, LOVED THIS
"I WANT TO GROW OLD AS ___ WITH YOU. I WANT TO SEE YOUR FACE TELL A STORY WITH WRINKLES AND KNOW THAT YOU'RE JUST AS BEAUTIFUL THEN AS YOU ARE NOW, MAYBE EVEN MORE SO BECAUSE I KNOW THAT EVERY DAY I SPEND WITH YOU, I GET MORE AND MORE ATTACHED."- TY
Although it is dark and gritty, I really did take to this series quickly. It is sexy, sad and this third installment has an emphasis on the sad. Never and Ty were left with quite a situation after the second book and feel the need to clear the air between them before they can move on with their new life. I am trying to review this carefully as not to spoil.
Each with a haunting past, it is Ty's turn to come to terms with his, hoping Never will stay with him after she knows the whole truth. It is quite a journey for the two of them, you just can't not route for this couple. It is wrapped up well if that is it, but I do see some more story in them. Wishful thinking on my part!
This book mostly focuses on Ty’s story. We know he’s been trying to help Never piece herself back together, but we also know he’s broken; damaged; tortured. Ty is now in need of the patience, love, and understanding that he gave Never. Is she up for the challenge? Will he let her be his rock? Ty’s life has been so horrid, that when we finally hear his whole story I couldn’t help but cry and want to soothe him. It was all so painful. I was so impressed with the way that Never has grown, and how she is able to put Ty’s needs above her own. That’s what love is all about isn’t it? These two were really so lost, but somehow finding their other half has set them on an emotional journey to healing. I loved them. They are so honest with each other, never playing games, and I appreciated that. The message in this story was so loud and clear to me. No matter how lost you are if you are willing to put in the work you can be found again.
“I can tell you that she changed my life, and I think, somehow, I changed hers. We're good for each other, Never and me. Just two tortured souls tangled together for life. Just two, tortured souls in love.”
While I’m sad that this will be the last book focusing on Never and Ty, I am so happy that they fought to become better people. Their adventure was so ugly and difficult at times, but the end result was beautiful and heartwarming. Ty, Never and CM Stunich I heart the heck out of you.
