I was set to give this book 3 Stars. Something happened in the beginning that is one reason that I'm careful about what book I read. Luckily for me things happened before the book got started. I was willing to give Jameson -250 points for being him. He was entitled jerk. Jameson said that Lana was a fun diversion. All he could do was admit he liked his women. Joking about getting multiple girls in a hot tub. And I mean multiple women. I had a guy I dated that told me about ALL the women he was with. I was so turned off. I could wait for my date to end. I know I mentioned this in my review of Keeping Ex's Baby too. But it severely bothers me. And it's such a turn off. I absolutely could not stand Jameson. Throughout almost the entire book. But I loved Lana. I know the idea that this book was heading. Taming the bad boy/play boy. But hearing about stuff...made me want to roll my eyes. Even though Jameson never really made it to my heart, he was heading there. Unfortunately, it was the last chapter and the epilogue to make him human.

Lana was an excellent h. I like a strong character. And she was one. She didn't take Jameson's "stuff". She had a good head on her shoulders and I liked her immensely. And immediately. She was a rock star. She had an entertaining job- literally and figuratively. She was good people.

I wasn't the biggest advocate for their relationship but I am willing to give this book 5 Stars because I liked the story. I also loved the Misery reference. I've read the book and have seen the movie.

I have a beef with stories that have grammar mistakes right out the gate. I can’t imagine who did the proof reading, when they miss the final two pages where they say he’s having a son and then at the very end say he’s having a girl.

This is book 4 in the Alpha Bosses Series and we finally get to see how Jameson gets hit with Love! Lana is a successful movie star and working in Chicago on location who has a director full of himself, trying to get his star, Lana to sleep with him. When Lana agrees to meet him she ends up sitting next to Jameson, her ex from 5 years ago who she found in her bed with her previous co-star! These two don’t know if they should give into their wants with one another or keep fighting it. When Lana’s co-star, Mackenzie befriends her she is surprised how good it feels to have a friend and they end up at a charity auction and Lana ends up bidding on Jameson and wins. Jameson and his friends have all had their stories and it’s great to read about them and their wives and children. The conversations between them all are just priceless. Jameson ends up being a better man and helps Lana out with her problems with her director and they end up falling in love but both put terms on their current relationship. They have their special moments along with being great together between the sheets. When the director goes too far Mackenzie goes to Jameson to ask for help as it’s unsafe for her and everyone else to be working under the conditions he set. When the movie has wrapped Lana and Jameson go on vacation and it’s not great, Lana gets sick and they are both worrying about when it’s over instead of enjoying their time and speaking to one another. When her secret is revealed in the most unexpected way Lana knows she can not trust her mother. Jameson is a man who never thought he wanted to marry or even have kids but when he discovers what’s going on with Lana he gets on a plan and tracks her down and boy does he get her! I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

A beautifully written second chance romance story.Lena was in Chicago making a movie she didn't expect to be meeting her creepy director at a bar but she wanted to branch out into different directions not just romantic comedies .When she recognized the man sitting at the table behind her and he noticed her.She asked him to sit somewhere else she had a meeting so while at the bar Jameson an Griffin were talking an watching when a pot bellied sunny looking guy joined her.They talked he noticed that Lena didn't look comfortable when the guy pulled his chair closer,she just said something got up an walked away.When her co star an friend Madelyn said she wanted Lena to join her at a charity auction an they could buy a bachelor for a night an help out a charity.So when Jameson was going to be one of the bachelors her friend at first said she was gonna bid on him it annoyed her but she told Lena she should buy him when Lena had just told her about what had happened she told her send him home alone after dinner.There are so many twists an turns to this story you will be riveted it til the very last page an leave you begging for more.I love the way this amazing author brings the characters to life before your eyes an you can feel their emotions an their pain.I can hardly wait to see what's next by this multi talented author.I voluntarily decided to review this advanced reader copy because its a really good romance story and I wanted other avid romance readers to know its so worth reading.

Although this book starts out a bit slow, stick with it and you will find a great second chance story. Jameson and Lana's past relationship ended badly, but wje=hen they run into each other years later, the attraction is still there and just as strong. When she wins him in a charity auction, Lana hopes to get her annoying director from chasing her, but it turns into so much more with Jameson. After the first few chapters, the book has great pace, a little drama, and steamy fun. We get a glimpse at the previous books couple and their families, so that's an added plus. Great read.
