Solid construction and appears well built. Mine came from learn_to_brew out of Oklahoma and shipping was fast. They did include the tap handle that was packaged loose in the box. It is a Krome model C257 made in india. As with most taps, i recommend fully disassembling and cleaning because there are many brass shavings and burrs within. I re-lubricated with silicone plumbers grease. Parts and a diagram are available online. My orifice was oriented so liquid would easily flow over the slight cupped shape from being stamped.

if i had this to do over again. it was kind of an impulse buy, as i was going to get a stout faucet and pulled the trigger a little early. this is probably about as cheap as you can get one new (at least for SS). but be aware that after you add the shank setup you will probably be paying about the same as you would for a complete perclick setup. also there is no documentation with this - i don't know what brand it is, it doesn't seem to be able to dissasemble for cleaning, i don't know what o-rings fit it should i need to replace them, etc. and mine didn't come with a handle although it was supposed to (not a big deal). not a bad unit by any stretch, and no fault of the seller. i just think you could get a little more value for your money.

I have 2 of these, one serving up a sweet stout, the other serving a Brittish mild, both via N2/CO2 mix. I liked the first so much I didn't even think twice about buying the second. Both function well. A drip tray of some kind is fairly essential as these seem to drip longer after pouring than a regular faucet. So far I've put 2 kegs of homebrew through one and one through the other. Pulling the spout for cleaning is not hard at all. Despite the description, neither of these came with the black tap handle in the picture. Still well worth the price.

It looks like a Krome and is made in India. I have a Krome. There is NO DOCUMENTATION available online. If you take it apart.. document it. It's an ok faucet. Price was ok... but, I got it used from a brewer that was moving.

Purchased this because the questions and reviews said it was stainless steel. What I received is chrome plated brass.

Sturdy, well built, works perfect. This is the second stout tap I have purchased and I think this is the better of the two. Buy with Confidence.
