It's not the 7 buck deal I got in March 2012 (paid 7.01) and at over 13 bucks now it's actually much cheaper in the stores. I purchased the 20oz. pack of 3 so that was about 2.34 a box and close to what I was paying in stores so I went for the free shipping and bought two. I'm in a rural area and it's a long trip to the store so we go about once a month and having this deal meant I didn't have to check several stores to find the best price. However, over 4 bucks a box is no deal. I gave this 5 stars because I liked the Raisin Bran; I could not see where it was made so no complaints about Mexico, the use by dates are mid-2013; the price was right and I was a happy camper. I would not purchase this again at this 13+ price for any reasons that I can possibly fathom but would buy several if it drops back to what I orginally paid. As a side note, check prices carefully in the food stores because I find that the larger boxes are often more per ounce than the smaller boxes and at one store the store brand in a bag was more per ounce than the Kellogg's.

This raisin bran cereal is another great addition to a healthier diet. These are a quick way to get started in the mornings, just pour them into a bowl and add milk. Doesn't get much easier. At my age I have to start eating more heart healthy foods which was hard for me since I love cereal and sweets. Eating a bowl of this raisin bran cereal in the morning keeps me from stopping and grabbing a donut on the way to work. It fills me up and the fiber is good for me. Sometimes when I get snack hungry in the evening I will have a small bowl of this raisin bran and stave off the temptation to grab chips.
I like that this raisin brand comes from a company that I trust and I like knowing that Walmart will make sure that I am buying them at the lowest price. This keeps me healthier and saves me money which is great.
If you are looking to start eating a bit healthier I would suggest that you try these. The raisins add a sweetness that a lot of healthy foods just don't have. They are easy to make and buying them wont break your budget.

I just received 3 Boxes of Kellogs Rasin Bran as a Subscribe and Save purchase. I like to check the "Use By Date" at the stores because it may sit awhile in our pantry before we use it. I bought Kellogs Rasin Bran at Sam's Club last week, and it has a date for June 2013. The boxes I just got from Amazon are dated for February 2013, so I will have to use them up first. It is mid-Sept 2012 now, so there is still time to use the 3 boxes. But dissapointed that they are closer dated than at the stores here. Also, the Box from Sam's shows Battle Creek, Michigan - and these from Amazon show being from Mexico. Based on this and other reviews here mentioning Kellog's ingredients being altered, I think I will change to another brand and cancel my Subscribe and Save.

I switch between Kellogg's and Post's respective versions of raisin bran since each has its pluses. Post has the flake portion down pat - large flakes with a nice crunch. In contrast, the Kellogg's flakes are smaller and more fiber-tasting. (As an aside, the Kellogg's flakes work better than Post when using the cereal as an add-in for baking multi-grain breads or oatmeal cookies).

But raisins are part of the equation as well. Kellogg's seems to have more raisins and, more importantly, they taste better - plumper and less chewy than the ones in Post.

I usually get Kellogg's since I can live with their less than great flakes, and they usually cost less (good sales on Amazon, plus I can get the jumbo boxes at Sam's Club). But, if only these two companies would collaborate - flakes by Post, raisins by Kellogg's. That would be perfect

Kellogg's Raisin Bran Cereal is still the best tasting raisin bran cereal money can buy. We bought three boxes and must say that we are glad that we did. We had no idea that one can purchase such food items from Amazon. We needed to spend a few dollars more to get free shipping on another order. Amazon suggested we buy the cereal to do so. We are so glad that Amazon suggested we "top off" our order with the cereal. How did they know that we love this cereal? Anyway, this just gives us another good reason to shop with Amazon. This may sound like an advertizement, but it is the truth!

The super neat thing about buying cereal through Amazon subscriptions is that you get email notifications when the product changes.

Kellog's recently reduced the volume of cereal in each box from 20 oz to 18.7 oz (6.5% less Raisin Bran) and raised the price from $12.40 to $15.26 (23.0% more expensive).

Ordered these because they were a better price than our local stores. Have a great expiration date (late 2013) and are perfectly fresh. Would highly recommend this deal to anyone. Great price and great cereal!

When I got the cereal, I was excited because I got it for so much cheaper than the grocery store charge. but the cereal tasted a little stale. Not sure if it was just this one box. I'll get another box just to make sure.
