I had a great experience with my prior Kelty tent, and have owned a number of tents over the years. Most tents have a large window built into the door, and mesh or a window on the opposite wall of the tent to allow for cross ventilation. This tent does not. There is a VERY small window on the door (the image represents the maximum window opening) and NO window or mesh on the opposite side. There is mesh on the side walls, however the fly covers this area. This significantly limits ventilation.
The tent itself is well made, with solid poles, fabric, stitching. It kept me dry during rain. However if you plan to came in the summer, with humidity or higher temps, this likely is not the right tent. Would be great tent for colder camping.
I assumed that this tent would be like every other tent that I've owned, but I was wrong. The photos are a bit misleading too, in that it looks like mesh opposite door and I assumed the door window would be larger.
If I could have returned it I would have, but used it camping before I realized the setup.
