This pool discharge host is listed as a 2" hose, but it doesn't really fit a 2" pipe without considerable "persuasion". When you get the package, it actually says that it fits both 1.5" and 2", which gives you a clue. Initially it would not even come close to fitting on my 2" pipe. I was finally able to get it to fit after about 30 minutes of stretching and working with it. I don't really want to take it off now because it will probably be hard to get back on again. Should work fine for a 1.5" pipe, but be careful if you have a 2" pipe.

Had to stretch it a bit to fit over a flange. Outlet on pump was 1 1/2 inches. Clamped it on and watched the water go out the other end.

Coming back to edit. After a day of heavy rain and needing to drain the yard - hose as several holes in it. The plastic is not strong enough to hold the pressure of the water. This is only our 2nd time using it and there are at least 4 holes in the tubing. We won't be able to use it again.

The size when ordered stated 2", when we rec'd the package said 2 1/2 and it was really 3". It sprung a leak within a couple days and after a wk many holes now after using for 3 weeks water gushing out from numerous spots in the hose. We will be returning it! Will try to add video review at later time

Bought this to drain our pool. Unrolled it and hooked it up, and though it drained the pool OK, there were multiple pin holes along the edges where it was folded for rolling. I suspect it was on the shelf a long time. I will probably be able to use it a couple more times before throwing it away.

Hose came dry... almost brittle. Appears to have been stored for an extended time with pool chemicals that took the flexibility out. It had a whitish powder on the plastic/rubber. Oxidized?? I threw it out as I was concerned it would break during backwash of DE and didn't want that mess. I felt like I got old, old inventory.
