    望遠鏡で太陽の白色像を撮影する場合、望遠鏡に絞りが無い場合がほとんどですので、NDフィルターを使って減光します。なお、通常の平均測光で露出を決めてしまうと、太陽は面積が小さいので光球面が露出過多になってしまうことがあります。これでは、粒状班、黒点などがうまく出ません。ヒストグラムが表示できる機能があるデジカメであれば、明るい部分を80~90%に抑えるようNDフィルターとシャッター速度を調整します。

    滝だとND4、ND8があれば大丈夫な場合が多いです。あまり長時間露出をすると木々やこの葉の揺れまでボケて写るのでバランスで決める必要があります。流れを一反木綿みたいにしたければ重ねるか更に濃いNDを使って露出を伸ばせば良いです。フィルターの値段がもう少し安いと助かりますが需要が少ないのでこれ以上は難しいですね。
