The Kennedy Autopsy
By: Jacob Hornberger
Narrated by: Kevin Pierce
I had this book a while then saw it on freeaudiblecodes so I grabbed it. I have always be interested in and repulsed by the secrecy that is obviously a cover up of the shooting of JFK. JFK once told his wife that if he was assassinated that Johnson would be behind it. This book doesn't go into the conspiracy theories but just what happened after he got shot!
I bet many people wouldn't be able to guess how many times his casket arrived at the place for autopsy. Three times! Each under secrecy! His wife thought she was with him the whole time but it was empty!
There were four shots but only three were suppose to be by the single shooter. So they made the magic bullet theory. He was also shot from the front.
The autopsy report itself was a mess! They kept changing where the wounds were and how many! How suspicious can you be? We will probably never know the truth but I believe that there was a conspiracy. How can all of this go on that is in this book without a reason. The only reason they would have is to cover something up!
Interesting and informative book! Great narration also!

For half a century, people have debated the Kennedy assassination. Some claim that the Warren Commission got it right — that Kennedy was assassinated by Lee Harvey Oswald, a lone-nut assassin. Others contend that Kennedy was killed as part of a conspiracy.
It is not the purpose of this book to engage in that debate. The purpose of this book is simply to focus on what happened at Bethesda Naval Hospital on the evening of November 22, 1963. What happened that night is so unusual that it cries out for truthful explanation even after all these years.
In this book, you will learn that
1. Kennedy’s body was actually delivered to the Bethesda morgue twice, at separate times and in separate caskets.
2. Some photographs and x-rays from the autopsy went missing from the record, and other photographs in the record were forged or otherwise fraudulent.
3. The president's body was altered by tampering with the wounds before the autopsy took place.
And much more.

JFK's War with the National Security Establishment: Why Kennedy Was Assassinated
Very good, but you need to read JFK'S WAR WITH THE NATIONAL SECURITY ESTABLISHMENT:WHY KENNEDY WAS ASSASSINATED, in order for this book to matter. Not nearly enough are reading that masterpiece of synthesis by Horne.
WHY DOES IT MATTER? The strategy of CIA disinformation has been, metaphorically speaking, to separate the horse from the rider. ie. to lie about policy implications of assassination to one audience leaving this critical audience with the impression that there were no policy results of the coup, because "JFK was just another Cold Warrior so why bother etc." Of course historians writing since the more than six million new documents were released under ARRB have shown that THIS IS THE EXACT OPPOSITE OF THE TRUTH. The policy changes btw. JFK and LBJs CIA policies were arguably the greatest between any presidents ever. More importantly this is when US went Autopilot, i.e. National Security State became de facto gov. SO YOU MUST READ hornes book with this one. Together they can change the world. Apart they cannot.

Very excellent book. A whole lot of obfuscation by our government but this author, among others, works hard to clarify and he succeeds. That's why this book has plenty of good reviews. was 12 years old when this happened, and I was stuck in a hospital bed with a radio. I was able to hear the entire day unfold without interruption. The newmen first broadcast that Kennedy would be taken to Walter Reed Army Hospital.I heard it myself! Everyone expected that for two or three hours. Then another broadcast made the update that it was going to Bethesda. I'll never forget it, nor the fact that as I lay there numerous bits of information about Lee Oswald were broadcast within an hour of the shooting. I'll tell you, as a 12 year old things looked odd even that soon. STILL NOT MAKING SENSE. It was the scandal of the century.

President John Fitzgerald Kennedy was one of the most popular presidents in American history. He also made more than a few enemies while in office. Although his assassination occurred in 1963, speculation regarding the circumstances of his death still persists today.
Jacob Hornberger has focused solely on the autopsy that took place after Kennedy’s death. The Kennedy Autopsy is a detailed and concise account of what the author has deemed to be full of many inconsistencies during the investigation surrounding the Kennedy assassination.
The author provides a great deal of information that had not come to light until long after the president’s death. Yes, it was a bit dry, but that’s to be expected when sharing reports, evidence, statements and testimony.
The Kennedy assassination will continue to be a controversial event in U.S. history. There will always be segments of the population that will fall on one side of the controversy or the other. Although I found this book to be well researched and compelling, I know that this is a subject that will never truly be closed. I’m of the belief that, if the United States government wants to bury the truth regarding just about anything – controversial or not – chances are it will remain buried. The Kennedy Autopsy gives readers another opportunity to revisit and examine any seemingly suspicious actions surrounding the autopsy.

Well worth the money.

The Kennedy Autopsy is a must read for people seriously interested in the Kennedy assassination. It's only 12 chapters long (with two Appendices) but that is all it needs to succinctly convey the issues involved. All the sources are referenced and verifiable by the reader, should they wish to do so, but the hard work has already been done. It makes sense of the confusing contradictory accounts paraded by both pro and anti conspiracy theorists and, for those who cannot understand how 'the wider conspiracy' could have been affected (those who say, quite rightly, 'the more people in on the conspiracy the weaker it gets'), Chapter 10's proposition of a possible telephone conversation brilliantly makes it clear how this could have been managed.
For me there are only two conclusions to be taken from this book. Either the federal agencies who 'stole' this investigation and autopsy were, at best, grossly incompetent or something stinks.
When you've agreed that 'something in the fridge doesn't smell right' then it's time to inspect the contents.
Most people enquiring into the Kennedy Assassination start with Oswald, an enigma and most probably an intelligence community manufactured enigma. Having researched this subject for years I now think the starting point for anyone should be the Autopsy. Don't be deflected by side issues of whether or not JFKs injuries were altered because the main point is why would the Federal Government hijack a procedure it had no legal rights to? I think Mr Hornberger has more than adequately answered that question.
And don't get bogged down in the fact that he is sometimes repetitive in mentioning some particular sources, the book is after all a collection of 'essays'. It would benefit from a swift edit though.
I would recommend this book and 'Not In Your Lifetime: The Assassination Of JFK' to anyone who wants to understand what surrounded JFK's death without being confused and dazzled by the smoke and mirrors.

Very poorly written
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on June 19, 2018Verified Purchase
Having read many, many accounts of the Kennedy Assassination, this is by far the worst to date. The salient points the author makes are lost behind his poor style of writing and the sensational way the information is presented. Unfortunately the style this book is written in does no justice to people who are genuinely interested in alternative theories about the JFK assassination and only serves to make these theorists appear like the tin hat brigade. There are definitely more factual and less speculative reads about the JFK assassination available.

Absolutely fascinating and absorbing, couldn't put it down. I have always been interested in the Kennedy assassination and always believed the 'official' version to be a cover-up. This view is upheld reading this, how did all the people involved in it live with what they did? Thank you Jacob maybe one day the whole absolute truth will emerge? Hmmmm we will see

Informative and interesting. Draws interestingly from other works (primarily Doug Horne and David Lifton) but not especially well written. A bit waffly in places and repetitive use of the phrase "Can you see the problem now?".
This would have got 2 stars but it was only from reading this that I found out about Horne's video series on the FFF website "Altered History". That series is long but it is crucial viewing to understand the multiple problems with the JFK medical evidence.

Confirms the view I have held for decades that Oswald was only part of a team of assassins and the lethal shot that blew out a large part of the back of JFK's skull and of his brain came from the front not the back.
