I just finished reading the ebook version of Jacob G. Hornberger’s brilliant new book The Kennedy Autopsy 2: LBJ’s Role in the Assassination. It is excellent, fast paced and logically seamless, a decisive presentation of his thesis regarding the clear cut circumstantial evidence in this case leading the attentive and objective reader to concur with and fully share his powerful conclusion.
Hornberger has courageously dedicated his life to the achievement of a free society. “Bumper” has made it his singular mission to authoritatively document, expound upon, and unceasingly demonstrate in multiple venues of outreach to the attentive public how the constitutional republic and the rule of law created by the Framers has been subverted and egregiously transformed into an extraconstitutional national security state, unrestrained by first principles of justice and equity. The select amoral clique or top echelon at the helm of the national security state have advanced many spurious rationales and pretexts for its existence, and will use any means necessary to further its Machiavellian objectives and consolidate its hegemonic power.
Hornberger is one of few audacious scholars to perceive the unmistakable link between the imperial conduct of covert interventionism, assassination, and regime change abroad, and how that sinister and corrupting policy lies at the centerpiece of American tyrannical actions at home. Seminal to that understanding are the tragic events of November 22, 1963, and the murderous coup d’état performed in Dallas, Texas and Washington, DC by vice president Lyndon Baines Johnson and the highest leadership of the deep state in the name of the elusive and nebulous concept of “national security.”
For over forty years, under the guidance of Carl Oglesby, Murray N. Rothbard, Peter Dale Scott, James W. Douglass, Douglas P. Horne, and Jacob G. Hornberger, I have believed that an understanding of the full implications of that coup is the Rosetta Stone to understanding subsequent world events. It is the central mythos or Illiad defining modern American history.

Overall, this was a very quick read!
The discussion of LBJ's action of November 22 brought clarity and new consideration.
I was unaware of the revelation that the DRE was a CIA Front that was disclosed in the 1990s.
What becomes most apparent is the grave and mortal danger POTUS is under from the Deep-State, especially in light of recent US House of Representative's Intelligence Ccommittee's impeachment testimonies over the last several weeks, both private and public.

This book presents many facts already printed in many other books that have investigated this horrible crime against the American people and our President John Kennedy. The information is superficial and really does not delve into the deep abyss where the truth still remains undiscovered. A much deeper investigation is needed to finally lay to rest the questions who, what, where, why this high crime and treasonous event happened and by how many and who they are is exposed to the light of justice.

I almost gave this a "one star" rating, but there are a few good things about it, so I bumped it up. Let's start with the positives: The writing was clearer than I expected. It is so easy to "get in the weeds" of the Kennedy assassination and overwhelm readers with minutiae and details at every step. Although this is also a criticism, I did like how streamlined it was about Oswald and the problems with the xrays and photos. If you're new to JFK assassination research, you might get something out of this. It's not comprehensive in any way about anything, but hits some key points that might help people into rejecting the official version.
The negatives? The biggest is that it doesn't deliver on its promise that this is about LBJ. There is -little- here about Johnson which is a shame since there is a wealth of information out there about him and his key role in the cover-up as well as the many credible people who knew him--including his own lawyer, a close friend and LBJ's mistress--who believed he was involved in the assassination. None of them is mentioned here. There is, simply, very little about Johnson.
Anyone who is satisfied blaming the assassination on the "national security state" without naming names, is extremely irritating--and this book does it, over and over. It's a lazy explanation, when there are so many people we know about. Also the Mafia-CIA connection which isn't mentioned at all here. Ruby? Basically, nothing.
Another very disappointing thing is there are no photos or illustrations. Despite the title, this is very much about the real photos (destroyed and replaced with completely different kinds of injuries) and how doctors and photographers disagreed with the official record. No pictures of the differences? That's very shocking in a book about the falsehoods about the autopsy--so key to understanding the lies about the assassination.
At 99 pages, with little about LBJ, I don't understand why this was a "Part 2" and couldn't have been combined in one book (repetitions edited out would have cut it way down, too.)

Good book, with an interesting theory about what happened in Dealey Plaza, and who was responsible. There were a few passages repeated multiple times which were irritating at times, but lots of unknown facts from testimony that kept it interesting.

Great sequel to the amazing first part of the book!
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on July 17, 2021Verified Purchase
Plot: The book continues the points mentioned in the first part of the book and talks about US Vice President London B Johnson during the Kennedy Administration and the info following JFK’s assassination. The book talks largely about the role LBJ had in the assassination as well as also talking about America in the early 1960s as well as the Cold War and the CIA and other organisations.
Review: The book is a amazing sequel to the great first book as this book is even better than the 1st book which is saying a lot! The book talks about the Cuban Missile crisis as well as the Cold War and various CIA Operations like Operation Northwoods and the Bay Of Pigs and JFK’s relationship with the CIA and other US departments. The book also talks about LBJ’s involvement in the assassination and also the reason on why he didn’t run re election in 1968 as well as other events surrounding LBJ and the JFK assassination.
