It definitely would hurt for ppl who have dogs that pull. My dog does not pull much but the material it's made of is so rough it did hurt my hand during the first walk I took with my dog using this leash!! I cannot imagine what it would have been like if we came across other dogs!
Please don't make the mistake of buying this leash.
We got the green one for a little less than 5 bucks, plus free shipping. My little Chunk loves it. :)

This product met my expectations and at a fair price. My desire was to get a softer nylon but I would definately buy this slip lead again.Published 26 days ago by Sandra Shiery
Great leash -- carry it with me for our daily walk -- just in case I need to restrain my companion. Yeah, the leash material is a little rough, but that is no issue for me.Published 1 month ago by Tom D.
Perfect looked everywhere for this item so was very happy to find it at a great pricePublished 2 months ago by Teresa Shockley

it feels kind of cheap. It's technically a leash but it's a very coarse braid of polyethylene.Published 3 months ago by Jensen A. Lau
Awesome temporary leash! I keep a few in my car in case I see a loose/lost dog while I'm out driving. It's rigid enough to keep the loop to easily slide over the head. Great deal! Read morePublished 4 months ago by Kathy J. Guevara
This lead is strong enough for a really big dog. The material is rather stiff and I don't feel it would be pliable enough for a smaller dog.Published 4 months ago by terese m mittler
