These are the MOST comfortable shoes I ever wore. I have sprinted, danced, and played soccer in them - comfortably!
What is quite bad, though, is the outsole wear - they seem to last only 5-6 months of 5 days/week of daily moderate use. Maybe that's why they are so comfy - the rubber isn't very hard.
Before the outsoles get worn out around the ball of the foot and on the heel. When the rubber wears out, gaping holes develop and water goes in.
If they lasted longer, I'd give them 5 stars. 4 stars because of the outsole wear.
My advice is to wait until they are $60 or less. If you want to buy them for $100, they are not worth it. At $60 they are a good choice - not amazing, but good. It puts them at Tom's pricepoint and they knock them out of the park - Tom's by comparison are horribly uncomfortable - toes get squished, they keep odors...
I've worn other dress shoes and other shoes even by Kenneth Cole feel ridgid, plastic-ky, or hard. These are smooth and soft. You will be pleased - just don't pay more than $60 bucks.
UPDATE 11/15/2015: I uploaded two images showing the wear pattern. They really do last only 4-6 months. On the left shoe, the wear pattern created two crevices. It was rainy and just about 5 minutes walking in the rain made my entire sock dripping wet - even though I was avoiding puddles, the water got into the shoe really quickly. I could possibly wear them for 1-2 more months but not in wet weather.
It's really miserable to walk while cold water is pouring in through the outsole.
This is the same exact wear pattern that happened to my previous 5 pairs. I tossed all of them by fifth/sixth month. I stand by my rating - but do wait until they are around $50 and do not spend more.
