I bought this watch because it looks so clean and simple. The black on black design looks really great until you need to know what time it is. Inside my house the watch is almost useless and I need to look at it from an angle to see what time it is. I just got the watch so I don't know how it would be at night time or inside a dark restaurant, but I am pretty sure it will be the same. It is a very nice dress watch, just not too useful as a watch.
The built quality of this watch is about right for $50. The band is pretty light and feels a little cheap. But the face has a more solid feel to it. For the price it is not bad. Even though I said it feels cheap, it has a more solid feel than those watches at walmart and target that is selling for the same price.
Another thing that I noticed is that this watch attracts grease or fingerprints very easy. It is pretty hot right now and just handling the watch, I am leaving some grease(finger oil) on it just by touching it. Unless if you are looking at it up close or hand someone the watch, it is not noticeable.
Since I bought this watch mainly to wear to work, the black/black design isn't that big of a deal to me because my workplace is very brightly lite. But if anyone is thinking of buying this to wear daily and wants to use it to tell time, I would suggest you get a different color.
This is the worst watch I have ever owned. Is not something you would expect from a bran like Kenneth Cole, so I am not sure if I got a fake one here or just bad batch. But the paint came off after a week of use, if you are buying one, get the natural metal or steel version. I tried to return it but I bought it when I was moving overseas, even tho amazon rep did tried it's best to help out.
Since i bought this watch the glass use to always frost up until it started to collect water droplets inside so i decided to take a hair dryer and apply it too see if the moisture would evaporate unfortunately the glass popped off and when I tried drying out the droplets the numbers started disappearing! I was shocked to see a kenneth cole product deteriorate like that! Im extremely disappointed and my likeness for Kenneth Cole watched are no longer!
