USAGE REPORT
After one year usage, I usually review electronics and here's this one. The main use I give this keyboard is for gaming [hardcore gaming]. I don't have a loud mechanical aberration. Instead, I use this fancy, quiet, inexpensive little comfort keyboard. I stress out the word comfort because the pad, after a year of use, has been standing out strong. I don't use the media control keys much, but for those who would understand, the WASD keys aren't faded at all. I require easy access to big F1-F12 keys and this keyboard delivers. Also being wired makes it more accurate, fast and responsive. Mine has been holding up superbly and the keys are still legible after continuous presses. I play about 5 hours each day, more on the weekends and this is THE keyboard to have. Other than gaming, whenever I need to type, the keyboard keys feel strong and have a nice "clicking" sound but not abnormal as a mechanical keyboard because this is NOT a mechanical keyboard, which is the reason I bought it.
CARE/MAINTENANCE
As every gamer will know, there's an inevitable habit of eating at your PC and I am not the exception. Sometimes I eat chips or other mildly-greasing foods while playing or otherwise using my computer. Besides me being squeamish about having oily fingertips, I really do take care of the keyboard and clean it at least once a week during my "battlestation" weekly maintenance care routine.
SUMMARY
So there you have it, a heavily-used keyboard that has been beat and abused many times and still holds well. A well-built product for everyday computing and even gaming. I recommend it.
