Computer Warning Canceler solves the problem encountered during the installation of the HID kits on certain car models, like Benz, BMW and Audi, this problem is often a computer or "CANBUS" error problem. They could be inserted inline just before the ballasts so I was sold.
I got the product in bubble wrapped envelope. No big deal it makes sense for an item of this nature.
They are actually kinda large, making the install a little more complex if you are space minded. Also during the install one of the clips broke when I was plugging in the supply harness from the car. I wasn't stressing the clip or anything, it just broke because it was pushed aside by the catch tab, so it kind of gave the impression of brittle plastic.
Anyway, I was like whatever and continued to install. The devices kind of worked. They took care of the problem for the most part, but they didn't eliminate it. Every once in a while a headlight would go out for about a second and then come back on, I would get a little flickering sometimes, but no strobing. I'm sure these work on other cars, but not on mine.
Overall you can get them, maybe they will work. I wasn't impressed with the quality, even if they did work I still wouldn't be impressed with the quality.
In the end I took them off the car, and just made my own relay harness with a capacitor.
before I purchased this, my GF's KENSUN HID kit was flicker and buzzing and random one eye.... After I installed this, it has been working wonderfully. No issues as of installation 5 Days ago.
GF Car - 2005 Chrysler 300 Touring - NEEDS THIS PRODUCT
My Car - 2007 Mustang... Doesn't need it
Keep in mind though, my car is older and it could be my car, not a problem with this product.
