I love this camera. Installed it with my Kenwood DNX6960 and the image is very nice. The camera is right above the trailer hitch and I can see all the way to both sides of the truck. I swear I could see an ant walking on the ground if I wanted to. I really like this camera!

I love it!!! its perfect! the angle is ALOT wider than I expected. The picture is incredibly clear even in pitch black; the ambient light from the reverse lights is plenty enough to give you a clear image of whats behind you. Extremely easy wire up and install... I would def recommend this product to a friend.

The moment I drove a car with a backup camera, I knew I wanted to somehow wire one into the A/V ports on my OEM Navigation unit. Imagine my joy when I discovered that there was a dedicated jack on the back of the Nav specifically for a backup camera! I had to buy a simple adapter from a fellow Subaru enthusiast, but otherwise it was a simple install. The Nav even detects the reverse gear and activates automatically! I have a WRX hatchback, and I mounted the camera (with adhesive only) above the license plate and ran the cable inside the car through some easily removed interior panels. I installed the power supply under the dash and ran the video cable up into the back of the Nav. It wasn't terribly easy, but it was a fairly straight forward install. I've used it for a couple years now without trouble and it is always a conversation starter for my passengers. The light from the backup lights is plenty adequate for night use, too. I'm so glad that I bought a quality product instead of cheaping out on an ebay special.

I had this camera installed by a local shop. It works great, even in the dark. I chose this model b/c a lot of people on the mercedes forum (for the w204 model) recommended this one. It connects directly to the multimedia screen and automatically turns on when the car is on reverse.

I integrated this with my Kenwood KVT-516 receiver, set up the controls to recognize reverse and the thing works like a champ - just shift to reverse and the screen brings up the rear camera view while continuing to play your chosen source (Sirius, Radio, etc). Very easy to install with some basic car wiring skills. The image is good, but I set it up to look through a shallow sloped rear window (Chrysler Crossfire - hatchback), so the image gets distorted by the glass. Even so, the wide angle cuts my blind spots to nil and I can easily switch to that view in heavy traffic to help with lane changes. If you have a compatible receiver, I highly recommend adding this little gem.

I bought this here a few weeks back, had it installed at a local shop, and have been in love with it since that time.

I own a 2006 Subaru Tribeca with factory navigation. My 2 biggest complaints about the vehicle:
1) Gas mileage (like almost all SUV's, it isn't great, but not horrible. I'd like great).
2) Very difficult to see anything when backing up.

Since the camera was installed, I have only mileage to complain about. It hooked to the NAV screen without much trouble (thanks to information found in a Tribeca forum). It kicks in automatically when I put the vehicle in reverse. I can back up without worrying about Pedestrians or other vehicles. I can see it all. It even works at night.

Recommended to anyone needing a back-up camera.

Installation was a night mare, not the cameras fault but the Kenwood head units. I spent about 2 hours trying to figure out what I did wrong and it turned out to be cause by the very small non locking plug on the back of the head unit.
Other wise it is working as described, It does give a great wide view and you sure can tell what is behind you, I did expect a better picture quality for the extra money. It may just be that the other very cheap units on the market make me expect more for the extra cost. I would like to think that this unit will last for years as the other would not.
