Kester 44 Rosin Flux is an activated rosin formula for use in flux-cored solder wire. Kester 44 Rosin Flux has virtually dominated the field of activated rosin core solders for well over four decades. An outstanding performance feature of this flux is the "instant-action" wetting behavior. The high mobility and fast-spreading action of this flux results in more reliable production line soldering.

My most recent project was un-soldering and re-soldering countless LEDs from two different strips to create one strip with a color temperature I wanted...(Don't ask)
Without this solder, I don't think I could have done this slightly more delicate work. It melts and flows so well. I could go in, heat everything quickly and get out, not overheating the LEDs.
Just make sure to have good ventilation, (fan)!
I now know the difference. I'll be buying the big 1 pound thing of this.... in a year or so... cause this thing seems to last forever!
Why I like it:
- Makes soldering so much easier (lower temp)
- Beautiful soldering spots!
- Convenient little packaging-pen thingie!
Love it! - Buy it!
PS: BUY FLUX!!!!!!!! This flux pen!: http://www.amazon.com/SRA-Soldering-Flux-Low-Solids-No-Clean/dp/B008OC0E5M/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1425143898&sr=8-1&keywords=flux+pen
They are not, and it is a coil that fills the tube. That's absolutely fine. Very easy to use, and apparently
Kester's products are pretty decent. No complaints here, and hopefully I will need to order the 1 lb spool
in the next week or so. I have a LOT of short strips of LEDs to get wired up individually.
