I've used amazon.com for almost 15 years and have bought thousands of items, and this is the first time I've ever posted a product review. I was compelled to do a quick review because I bought this bike 2 months ago and I'm still amazed at how great this bike is and how it's at at least as nice as carbon fiber road bikes at double the price in bike stores. I did have it professionally assembled at a bike shop, cost only $50. I did put better tires on it, Michelin Pro 4, a new seat, and coated handle bar tape that is coated to not have to be cleaned. Often it's true that you get what you pay for, and for this bike, you get a lot more than what you pay for. I have the 2013 model, and it appears the 2014 model is virtually the same.

I was pleasantly surprised that the quality was this good at this price point. This is my 4th carbon bike and by far the cheapest I have paid for one. Although I have not weighed it yet, it is slightly heavier then my Specialized and Fuji bikes. Comes with a decent group set and the wheels are better quality then I expected. I would give this bike higher then 5 stars on looks alone if I could, especially with my Fast Forward deep carbon wheelset on it. I cannot review how it performs on the road yet as I have it primarily set up in my cycleops vr trainer. Based on the looks, price, and build quality, I have no problem recommending this bike, but keep in mind I have not hit the road with it yet. I will update this review when I do decide to test it out.

Holy crap is it fast. I never rode a carbon fiber, so it's a little bit of a shock for me. This is what I learned:

1) It's scary fast. I can easy get to about 25mph on a flat surface, and much faster on a downhill.
2) This is my first tri bike, and I didn't realize how rough the ride is. You will feel every single bump on this bike.
3) It needs aero bars. There is a version sold on Amazon with them, but I really don't like bar end shifters, so I went with the drop bars, which are surprisingly comfortable.
4) It does have mix and matched components. It has Shimano 105 shifters and rear derailleur, but Tiagra cassette and front derailleur. From everything I read online, there's not really a huge difference between Tiagra and 105 front derailleurs or cassettes, except 105's cost more.

The bike did come 80% assembled, which is really nice. All and all great buy for a great price!

great bike for the money (the 105's are a great catch with the frame), but a few things definitely keep this bike from being amazing:

1) Wheels, although they are light, have an inconsistent braking surface. Even though the wheels are true, the metal brake surface is clearly warped/not smooth. I would recommend purchasing wheels ASAP.

2) Crank is quite heavy, would recommend replacing if you care about weight.

3) The rear cog set is great for flats, but tough on hills. The 28 chainring won't be forgiving on climbs, unless you're already in great shape. Would definitely recommend getting a larger gear for the rear (30-32).
