I don't usually like potato chips, but these are hard to beat. Packaging is excellent, keeping them exceedingly fresh and crisp. I've tried all their varieties, but this is my favorite.
This is a delicious chip that falls into a taste category all by itself. I have never tasted anything like it. Sweet and spicy at the same time, it is a strong change of pace from your usual bland offerings from Frito Lay. Kettle's quality is apparent the moment you open the bag.
One negative is the 24 bags you get with this order. Because this chips is so different, it is not something you can eat over and over. After a few bags, you need to take a break from them for a while. If you have a large family, this would be perfect.
I took one and said good Russet potato chip but where is the flavoring? Then all of a sudden, within seconds, it spread to my senses and my taste buds were happy. As close to Thai food as a potato chip can get. These chips are spicy enough to satisfy that craving for spice and a hint of sweetness that makes them habit forming. The flavoring included garlic, ginger, jalapeno, cilantro and other spices, and it just felt great to eat these. I will buy these again. These were a treat.
I recently bought these. They were burnt and the only thing I could taste was burnt chip and ginger. Out of the three bags I bought, only 1 was not burnt. The flavor on the unburnt chip was overpoweringly spicy and not very good. Don't they have quality assurance people at their factories?
If you're a potato chip fan, do not subject yourself to this torture. All these people leaving glowing reviews must work for the company or something.
These are my favorite, but they aren't for everybody. In a way, they sort of taste like Oriental flavor ramen, but with a kick. For me, how can one go wrong with the combination of jalapeno and ginger? They are a bit rich, so they aren't for EveryDayForAMonth snacking. Because this is a case purchase, I recommend trying out a single bag before buying an entire case.
Combined? Bleagh! It just doesn't work in this chip that goes for heat over flavor and isn't especially good at any of above three qualities. Stick with the Salt & Pepper Kettles or, better yet, get to the eastern shore and get Utz' Crab Chips, the ne plus ultra of potato chip exoticism.

This is my favorite chip, hands down. Just like when you eat Thai food, you can taste all of the different flavors. This chip has a little spice to it, but it's not too strong. My 9 year old daughter likes them. All in all, a great chip
