Hanging Bluebird Feeder. Great way to offer Mealworms to your Bluebirds. Place a single layer of mealworms, roasted mealworms, or bluebird nuggets on the floor of the feeder. Bluebirds feed inside the feeder by entering from either end of the feeder. Keep out larger more aggressive birds.

Don't be afraid to make modifications -- you bought it, it's yours.
Also, this year I have an aggressive mocking/cat bird - on the one hand he keeps sparrows (bluebird and egg murderers) away - but he is deterring my blue birds a little too. However, I have heard that mature blue birds will still nest with mocking/catbirds around and I truly like NO SPARROWS.
I may buy another feeder to go in the front of house. I have plenty meal worms - grow my own.
