This is my first time buying Tahini sauce but I have tried it before. I did a fair amount of research regarding different brands, and decided to buy Kevala for the quality first, and also the value was good. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and rich sesame flavor. If you are making this for a salad dressing.. You're going to need thin it out with some of the following ingredients which should be extremely easy "water+ lemon juice" should be enough, but i may experiment with some type of vinegar. Just a little bit should do the trick. I haven't done it myself yet, but will be preparing a batch next time I use it with high expectations for success.

this is such a nice pure organic tahini that makes it taste so good when I use it to make my homemade hummus. it’s so easy to make hummus when you have tahini and a few little articles like some garlic and olive oil. I make it often and I like to have it in the fridge so I can pull it out if anybody comes over and have a snack.

Does it taste good? I have no idea. It was packaged so well I was impressed. But then I opened the jar. Nothing but black runny liquid, like coffee with a shine. I have been vegan and eating tahini from many brands, including black tahini, for years but I am new to this brand. And with that, this will be my last order. I am not going to spend over $10 for something that looks like motor oil. Its maybe good for a dressing, but cannot at all put this on toast, crackers, etc.

Consistency is like black tar, based on other reviews I thought it would be more watery but it's pretty good.
Using it for desserts & ice-creams. It has no sugar added which is great since can add sugar free options to mix in.
I wish it was cheaper, since the bottle is pretty small for $30, but saves a lot of time by not having to grind your own seeds. I usually buy the ground sesame powder to use or plain seeds but the end result texture is too grainy, this seems better.
