I am an unrepentant a hot rodder who enjoys puttering with his cars and preparing them for exhibition at shows. I decided to compare detailing sprays and spray wax, and I gathered more than thirty examples. This is my preliminary report.
Kevian Clean Quick Wax Car Detailing Spray is applied in three steps. First, mist a one-foot section – I put it on dark purple metallic paint, but it is equally appropriate on glass or metal. Second, quickly wipe the section dry and continue with a dry cloth to polish the section – I used microfiber cloths. Third, stand back and admire.
I found four characteristics of Kevian Clean Quick Wax Car Detailing Spray:
1. Superior reflectivity. Suddenly I could clearly see the checkered flooring mirrored in the newly-detailed paint.
2. Good shine. It was not the wet, surface-shine of some products – perhaps due to the inclusion of carnauba and beeswax, but it was certainly shiny.
3. Ease of application. The section I detailed took literally only seconds with little effort.
4. There seemed to be no scent. Some people like an automotive spray to enhance the surrounding air with a sweet, pleasant smell, and other people don’t like that.
