When a novel has a bibliography, you know you are about to embark on a journey that aims to separate fact from fiction.

Keys of Destiny, Adin Kachisi's fourth novel, delves deep the ancient cultures of the world, showing how they connect present-day societies and current events. From beginning to end, Keys of Destiny pushes the reader to a broader understanding of the world, both geographically and spiritually.

Keys of Destiny is able to keep your attention regardless of your level of knowledge of world history. If you are totally unfamiliar with ancient history, conspiracy theories and secret societies, you will stand to learn a lot about how different religions and groups of people from various time periods are connected. If you are well-versed in historical studies, Key of Destiny is a refreshing utilization of nonfiction in a fictitious setting.

The main character, Kazra Moore, is a professor at City College in New York City. He is educated and trained in Western philosophies. He is overwhelmed by his spiritual awareness of the shift that slowly takes place around him. Things like this preoccupation with the number 11 and the Mayan apocalyptic theory involving the year 2012 seems to be related but Kazra can not figure out why. Things begin to unfold when he gets a phone call from Rick, his favorite student. Rick's uncle is a Creek Elder and wants to meet Kazra.

That meeting with Uncle Yuccah in Carterville, GA, proves to be much more than Kazra could have imagined. The sacred crystals, known as the Keys of Destiny, are scattered around the globe and must be gathered and brought back to the Creek Elder Yuccah to initiate an aspect the Purificationceremony which will eliminate the negative energy stuck on the Earth's physical plane.

Format: Paperback
KEYS OF DESTINY by Adin Kashisi is a fascinating novel about the end of the world. Professor Kazra Moore, along with a student, Rick, a Native American, talk with Rick's Uncle Yuccah, who gives him information on the end of the world and what must be done to prevent it. The uncle has a crystal key, but there are three missing. The earthquakes, tsunamis, hurricanes and other natural disasters that are plaguing the earth must be stopped and there is only one way to do it: Kazra must find the other three keys. Kazra sets off on a journey that will take him to Europe, Africa and Asia in search of these keys. He is followed and threatened by demons, monsters and others who also want the keys, but not for the same reasons Kazra does. They are interested in destruction of the earth so they plague his dreams and even his physical being.

Kazra first goes to Ireland, where he hopes to find the first key. He is met by those who also want the keys and he learns he must always be on guard. During his travels he is faced with violent opposition. Will he be able to locate all three keys? And better yet, will he be able to get them safely back to Unlce Yuccah so the world's destruction will stop? Or is this truly the end of mankind?

The book is loaded with little known facts about ancient history, especially that of the African continent, which colors the entire story, whether it is Europe, Africa or Asia. It brings to the forefront history that has been whitewashed and made to fit today's history books. It is pointed out that greed was the cause. If the people who wanted to exploit Africa could pretend the people who lived there were not worthy of all that beautiful land and resources, it would be easier to push them aside into slavery or just plain kill them and take their land.
