This album displays some of the lesser known talents that came out in the early/mid 90's. Some were quite good and should have been wildly popular (Heaven's Edge possibly being the best). Some are still around and successful, with others' success lies in other bands (Megadeth), and some faded out for the most part. While not well known, there is some talent here to be enjoyed.
While Heaven's Edge was an awesome band, their sound did not come through on their cover. It sounded good, but I still can't recognize them even after listening to "Don't Go Away Mad (Just Go Away)" several times.
Lunatic Candy Kreep covered "Shout at the Devil". They sound somewhat like Faith No More used to and gave the song an edgy, original track.
A couple tracks sounded flat like "Girls, Girls, Girls". It was a good cover, but the production seemed off unless that is the band's sound?
Spawn and Psyco Drama did the best covers.
If you are a fan of the 80's genre, you'll like this; it rocks and did little to let me down. If you prefer to stick with the better-marketed, more popular musicians, then this may not be for you. The collaboration is a nice effort that supports Vince Neil's daughter and others like her.
