This book is an invaluable asset to understanding this popular crowdsourcing platform. It strips away the mystique to show the heart of the program, and if it is right for you. If it's not, well Tresca has other options and suggestions for you, along with links and information to get you going.
Though this guide is composed for the UK Kickstarter customer, many of the same rules and situations apply to the US customer - which I am. For those located outside the US or the UK, the author has composed a section which lists several options for utilizing Kickstarter UK, including such vital information like how to set up a UK bank account. Seems a small matter, but it can be frustrating.
Everything you need to know about Kickstarter is here; how to use it, when to use it, how to (hopefully) succeed - even templates for that you can use for your first Blogger, your first email, etc. If you are considering a Kickstarter campaign on either side of the pond, read this.
The author does a good job of outlining the book in a way that is easy to understand, while still engaging the reader. I have to say that this is definitely a useful resource and obviously in more ways than one.
I would recommend getting this if you are looking to earn some extra cash and can appreciate a straight-to-the-point-guide.
Get ready to have some fun with what you'll learn and enjoy!

I learned some interesting tricks and data I never found anywhere else.
It’s more than just Kickstarter advice, it also has some really good business advice in it as well. The book has helpful templates and checklists, which would make getting your crowdfunding campaign off the ground a little easier. I especially like the email templates for everyone from bloggers to friends and backers. After reading this book, I am eager for more people to use Kickstarter or some other crowdfunding service to see their dreams come true.
It’s inspiring me to create a Kickstarter for my future book. This book takes a lot of the guesswork out of starting a campaign. Why flub your way though when you have a handy guide available, right? I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who is thinking about pursuing a crowdfunding campaign.
It’s important to note that since this book is geared towards the UK market, the material is very much written with UK residents in mind. Even so, this eBook will help anyone understand how to use the crowd-funding platform to get a project off the ground. Even if you aren’t in the UK, the strategies laid out in this book will serve well in any Kickstarter campaign.
This book is perfect for anyone that whats a step by step manual for success on Kickstarter.
