i recently tried the kidori with my 3.5 yr old daughter and 50 yr old male friend. "pepsi challenged" the kidori with my own stylus-pen combo. in both cases, the kidori won so not only great for kids but useful for adults.

for kids, i like how this encourages kids to use their hands to practice writing and drawing the old fashioned way vs just tapping. the kidori could actually allow my daughter to have more quality "app" time vs the current trajectory of reducing her time on it.

for adults, i personally find the weight is good and that the larger body feels really good to hold. I would totally consider "borrowing" it from my daughter to take digital notes with my evernote, paper and other note taking apps. i can see a lot of useful applications for designers and artists too.

I bought my daughter a Kidori Pen because she absolutely loves to play games (fun and learning) on her iPad--the concept of having a stylus for kids is brilliant since they can practice their writing and it actually allows them to have more control over using their fingers. The workbooks that came with the Kidori were great and she really enjoys them. What's great about the Kidori pen is the comfortable fit it has with childrens' smaller hands and it's solid so it won't easily snap and break. I started 'borrowing' her Kidori for my own iPad and iPhone...and now it goes with me in my purse :) I guess we'll have to buy another one.

I got this for my five-year-old daughter and she absolutely loves it! It's refreshing to see her play with the iPad in an educational way and improving her motor skills with the Kidori pen at the same time. The workbooks are fun, colorful and engaging, offering everything from connect-the-dot games and color-by-number to mazes and math. Highly recommend this to anyone with a young kid and an iPad!

I picked up a Kidori Pen at a tech fair for use by my 3 year old nephew. The size is perfect for his grip and now the drawing and alphabet applications on iPad are a lot easier for him to use. Another cool thing about this toddler stylus is that Kidori has a suite of applications that foster learning that work perfectly with this pen [...]

It is an absolutely brilliant idea! It's a start of new hybrid-educational(technical + natual) way for kids to enjoy their hands to create something organic in the computer! I highly recommend it! My niece enjoys her personal way of sketching and playing on Ipad now! Which, in my generation, we couldn't before! It's the best pen ever!
