It's a smart book for smart kids and I think it's a wonderful gift.
I really like this book because it not only lays out ides, it has easy to answer questions at the end of each chapter for them to use and fun activities to complete as they go along. As an individual who essentially runs her own business, I don't know how to translate what I do into kid friendly advice. This book breaks it down for you.
It encourages them to use their natural talents to develop a plan that fits them. The chapters are step by step and easy to follow. The end of the book even has a blank business plan for them to complete to get them started. The younger you start to encourage your children, the better t is for them in the long run. I highly recommend this book for every parent, especially parents of young children.

He's done papers and has hated it mainly because he has to deliver them rain or shine, and doesn't think that the effort he puts into it is worth the money he makes.
After reading this book he's asking questions about running your own business and truly has some very neat ideas, some probably would not work but rather than shoot them down we sit down and review the idea and concepts and I help him put together his thoughts on paper so that he can see why the idea is good, or is not.
He hasn't found the million dollar idea yet but knows that he doesn't want to work forever for someone else.
This book pushed him in the right direction to think about entrepreneurship.

I really cant say there was anything special about this book that I could not have taught my son myself. That said I have an MBA so maybe Im biased.Published on May 22, 2014 by Lady K
...and rightly so. I've peeked inside on one occasion, and it seems the same stuff that we've seen in any of similarly-titled books, regurgitated anew. Read morePublished on September 15, 2013 by Mom without a blog
