Written with charm, the author notes, "Teaching basketball to young children is like going on a treasure hunt and finding the coolest stuff." He weaves in good common sense, such as, "If the boys don't want to play basketball that day we don't. We do something else." Oh and I'm not forgetting a proud pappa's delightful photos of "his boys."
Exercises are simple and logical, a well thought out introduction to teach an adult how to introduce any child to the feel, weight, and movements one can perform holding and dribbling a basketball. Nothing is forced. It's all good grownup-kid's fun and play.
Enlightening and educational. Highly recommended.
Nice little guide if you want to teach a youngster how to dribble the ball well
