Her story is an engaging story that tells a lesson that sticks with the children , making them think about it.. I read this to my 5 year old nephew and he totally enjoyed the story and asked questions about it too.. Just 22 pages . Almost the right length for a children’s book because beyond this they tend to lose interest.
This book is an original and fantastic analogy and I was surprised and beyond impressed with how much I liked this story. This is truly designed to help children understand the importance of kindness , fairness and lending a helping hand to those in need . There are plenty of illustrations for them to enjoy . Totally worth the price. I can’t wait for Charissa’s next book . Really looking forward to it :)
I like reading such books to my children and nieces. I bought this one for my 4 years old.. It didn’t quite catch his interest but my 9 years old niece seemed to enjoy it.. Overall a nice book . I’ll see what lesson is sent out through the next book in the collection.
The story is about kindness and how a Bobolink bird called Bobby saved his friend after getting hurt because of people, hunters. The book has special messages in it like that you should help others even if they are not nice to you. And not to judge others.
My favorite character is Bobby Bobolink because he was so nice and caring and taught Angie the Duck about Jesus and how God made us in his wonderful image. And how he was not interested in being beautiful or popular. And that he was friends with different animals. This book is super special and unique and made me feel happy. =(^.^)=
This adorable story with sweet animal characters will teach you Christian values. There is an old saying that I heard all my life, "God don't make no junk." All of us are special in this world, and you have to tell and show your child or children how much God values them and how we should value children. This author uses animal characters to drive this message. All God's children are somebody too and as human beings we must all learn to respect and treat each other right. This story is a wonderful lesson of acceptance. I highly recommend this book for all children!
