My kids are very into the United Kingdom (home of Harry Potter, the Beatles, Sherlock, and Dr. Who) and we're thrilled when I got this activity book as part of a promo. It is so fun and informative! It is a full color booklet with beautiful editing and graphics. The activities are VERY engaging with word searches, fun facts, and travel tips. I would have adored having a book like this when I was traveling as a child. My kids are totally planning out a trip to the UK soon and are reading up on all of the great sites they can visit. --By OahuMom on July 24, 2016
Having a strong love for all things British, I wanted to teach my child the same. I came across this kids travel guide of the United Kingdom. First, this is comprehensive of the United Kingdom so it covers the major cities, England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and information related to these areas. It covers maps, customs, language, food, money, brief histories. It has a quiz at the end. It covers in a broad sense, all the main information for a child to know when visiting or learning about this geographical area. It is colorful and easy to read and has activities on almost every page which will engage the learner. I am having fun going through it with my child. --By slon October 30, 2016
I ordered this book because my daughter loves learning about the U.K. This is a really cool book. It is really for some one who is going to be visiting the U.K. It has tips on what to pack for your trip. A little check list of what not to forgot to take with you. It also asks what you would like to see there. It is a question and answer book. She really likes it. We are not going there any time soon, but it has inspired her to google things about the U.K. that she did not know. This is a great learning experience for her. I would recommend this book whether you are going to to visiting there or not. It would give the kids something to think about and help them to learn. It is very well made. I like how the front and back covers are made of durable cardboard. This book will be around for a long time. She is having so much fun filling in the blanks and finding out things that she never thought of. --By anna breweron September 15, 2016

There are a lot of puzzles and places for journaling and pictures. It is full of questions to answer and activities to do. If you are not going to the U.K., it is still a wonderful resource for learning about another country. The book is well made and I really enjoyed reading it and sharing it with the grandkids. I will be buying other editions to increase our library.
I recommend this to anyone who is planning on traveling with a child or wants to expand a child's education.

Much better books are available. I have 5 better books for child travellers to the UK on my desk. At least the price is right; it's free for Kindle Unlimited users.
